My Favorite Things, Sketch 634 (second entry)

Something about this sketch made me want to create another version. I really like it I guess! You still have time to play if you want to. Here's my second entry.

For the 'tag', I used the Jumbo Fishtail Banner STAX (retired) by My Favorite Things.

The stamps are from Ellen Hutson - I've had these for a long time but just hadn't used them. They seemed to be perfect for today's card. I just love these fun little light bulbs designed by Julie Ebersole.
I added foam tape to pop them up because I love foam tape and these sort of asked for it.
Cute paper pad by Honey Bee Stamps. The yellow and black paper was the perfect choice.

My Favorite Things, Sketch 634

For this week's sketch I used pieces I had in my stash just waiting for the perfect project. When I have remnants of pattern paper leftover, for example, instead of tossing them I will cut strips of different sizes for sentiments or accent embellishments just to have on hand, rather than throwing out a piece of paper that may be too small for a die cut. Similarly, I will hold onto cuts I've made and colored but didn't use at the time I made them, which is what I have done here. Hope you like!

The background is the Faded Dot stencil by Tim Holtz, inked in Lost Shadow Distress Ink. I used the same color ink for the splatters on the Tag with the Distress Patterns stamps by My Favorite Things. The tag is from the MFT Tag Builder Blueprints #1 die set.

Acorns from the My Favorite Things, Autumn Blessings stamp set. Sorry I don't recall which Copic colors I used for them, it's been so long. The sentiment is a preprinted strip.
The leafy branch clusters are from the Nature Walk stamps by Ellen Hutson. They are inked in Distress Ink, Shabby Shutters.

Gerda Steiner Design Challenge

For today's design I've made a box card using the sweet little Valentine Penguins by Gerda Steiner Designs. It's too hard to pick just one or two of these little critters, and a box card allows me to use them all! Hope you like.

For the base, I've used the Outside the Box, Level Up box card dies from My Favorite Things. No measuring - just cut and assemble the pieces. Easy, peasy!
There are also a few other My Favorite Things items here to add the final touches. The adorable heart banner, balloon cluster, and the speech bubble hearts are MFT as well.

And it folds flat for easy mailing in a regular A2 sized envelope.

My Favorite Things, Color Challenge #206

I can't with these cute little Easter gnomes dressed up like bunnies! Here's my card for the current color challenge.

The images in this set are so cute I had to use them all. In order to do that, I decided a box card would be the best design. There are so many fun things to see in it!
That bunny butt had to be included, even though it is not from this MFT set. Right?!

Folds flat for mailing in a regular A2 envelope. If you don't fill them too full, they don't even require extra postage.
It's so hard to remember to take progress pics, but here are a couple for you.

Goodies used.

MFT Sketch Challenge 633

This week's sketch challenge. I used these adorable little hunny bunnies from the new release. Aren't they so cute!

I used a little foam tape for this guy.  And the notebook edge die is also by My Favorite Things.
I matched the colors to the 6x6 paper pad from My Favorite Things called Sweet Stack. Sorry, this one is retired.
