HAPPY THANKSGIVING

I have lots to share from my gratitude journal, but we'll be hitting the road later this morning and will be gone for a few days. Enjoy your holiday time, whether you're home or way, with family or friends, or by yourself. Be grateful for everything! There are so many who have nothing. Love you all!!!

My Favorite Things, challenges 223 & 671

This one is for sketch challenge 671 and color challenge 223. I used the adorable Santa's Elves set by Birdie Brown, which was just re-released from the vault. If you've been wanting this retired set, now is the time to grab it!! Vault releases sell out pretty fast, so don't dawdle.

Glossy accents added to the buttons, jingle bell on his hat, and the ornaments.
Ink colors used (color challenge also includes Wild Cherry - I used Copic R46 for that one).
Copics used for this card

Gerda Steiner Designs, Small Elements Challenge #2

For this one, I used the Fall Mice stamps and dies, and Gourds stamps and dies. The cutest bitsy little pumpkin was perfect for my background, and I combined it with the heart, also in the Fall Mice set.

I used Distress Oxide, Bundled Sage for the hearts and frame; and Distress Oxide Scattered Straw for the pumpkins in the background. The tiny berries are part of the Avery Elle, Grateful set.
I stamped the 'thankful' word with my custom blended ink pad using Distress Oxides, and also popped it with foam tape because it needed some dimension. I love how it looks.

Product List:
Gerda Steiner Designs, Fall Mice
Gerda Steiner Designs, Gourds
Avery Elle, Grateful stamps and dies (thankful word)
Copic Xpress it Blending Cardstock
Copic Sketch Markers
Distress Oxide inks, Scattered Straw, Bundled Sage, Custom Blend
Glossy accents, foam tape

Gerda Steiner Designs, Small Elements Challenge

I love using the small pieces of any stamp set, and this challenge is perfect. Adding the sweetest little touches to a card or project with eye-catching minis is always fun.

For this card, I used the teeniest little letters from the Season's Tweetings stamp set by Gerda Steiner Designs. The bespeckled pigeon is sending his letter to the North Pole so I had to find a mailbox for him! This one is by Hello Bluebird.

I cut the mailbox and the pigeon's wing to tuck the letters into and added glossy accents to his spectacles.

Product List:
Gerda Steiner Designs, Seasons Tweetings stamps and dies
Hello Bluebird, Merry Mice stamps and dies (mailbox)
Ellen Hutson, patterned paper
Copic Xpress it Blending Cardstock
Copic Sketch markers
Glossy accents (glasses)

One more class project

This was day 3 of Lindsay's Potions class, but as with the final tag of Heidi's Unedited class, my products didn't arrive until today. So I cranked out this and the last Heidi tag today. I made some minor changes in this one as it is no longer October, but the tag itself is the same, I just used a few different stamps on it (November in place of October, for example) and made it work. I love it.

Thanks again, Lindsay Bateman, for the awesome class videos. Your designs are all fabulous.

Final Day, Unedited with Heidi Swapp

Today's tag is actually yesterday's, but thanks to UPS "smart post" shipping, my products were delayed an extra three days!! Man, I hate when they do that. As if the post office isn't bad enough trying to deliver their own mail without the extras from UPS, FedEx, Prime and everywhere else. UGH. First world problems, right. But I finally got it, and here's my final Halloween tag for yesterday. :)

The front door opens!!!

And there is also a pull out!
So much fun, you guys. And the main set we used for this one is (drum roll please.....) MERRY LITTLE CHRISTMAS!!! Yep. The house, doors and windows are all from the new Christmas release. So versatile!

Also, I ended up having to heat emboss the dead trees on vellum for the urns. I got out my Staz-on ink pad to stamp the vellum, and it had dried up. COMPLETELY. Poo.
It's like two cards in one. LOL
