Thoughtful Thursday

Welcome to Thoughtful Thursday, a day to share cards for encouragement, thanks, get well, or thinking of you. Fruity friends, Peachy Tuesday

Well it had to end sometime and sadly this is my last day guesting on the Peachy Blog, but I have to say, it has been so much fun getting reacquainted with all my peachy stamps, acquiring new ones, and playing along with the PKS team. I hope you've enjoyed my projects and will continue to follow my crafty adventures on my blog at Scrapendipity Studio. Thank you so much to the PKS team and fans for all the love. It has been a blast!! ♥

For my last project, I've used the faceless fruit, one of my very first Peachy sets, with the fruits sentiments (two) set. I used various paper scraps in my stash for this simple card, one of my favorite ways to recycle, and some yellow hemp twine.

Here is a closer view of my friends. ;) They're so corny, aren't they?! LOL In addition to the fruits and fruit sentiments, I used the cornies face assortment, and for the lemon's pucker face, funshine face parts.

Product List:
Peachy Keen, PK-239 Faceless  Fruits
Peachy Keen, PK-164 Fruit Sentiments Two
Peachy Keen, PK-293 The Cornies Face Assortment
Peachy Keen, PK-943 Funshine Face Parts
Ink, white pen, twine

Scrapping The Little Things

Good morning! It's Scrappy Monday with My Creative Time when we share with you layouts, Smash books and Project Life pages. Last school year Grace wanted to try home school. She enjoyed it and had a blast. This is a pic daughter Cyndi took on one of their field trips in Seattle. Even though Grace still took her music and a couple of other classes at the school, she missed all the time with her friends and the social interaction and went back to public school this year.

Today we are showcasing the new jar die. I've used it here with vellum and clear acetate. Love the look of it and that it is still 'see-through'. The cap is textured metallic paper by Die Cuts With a View.

My Creative Time clouds, butterfly from the new release, Chunky Jar Accessories, Inspiring Words Accents stamp set. I clear embossed the cloud with "dream" from the Have Fun in the Sun stamp set.

The new doily and tickets dies are such a sweet embellishment with buttons and bows in twine and sheer ribbon.

My title using the Fun Alphabet lower case dies also by My Creative Time. Love that set.

Kiss me, I'm Irish!

For real, I am Irish. A chunk anyway. ;) But at the moment you probably don't want to kiss me as I'm still getting rid of a nasty cold. LOL Regardless, I've made this St. Paddy's Day, kiss me, card to share today! The lips and beer are by Peachy Keen, the ticket dies and remaining sentiments are My Creative Time.

My Creative Time shamrock die, ticket dies, fun ticket stamps, star button die, and I Believe in Leprechauns stamp set. Of course the leprechaun is by Peachy Keen.

The cute little leprechaun had a huge makeover - I've paper pieced him, colored him, and also added stickles and glitter. See his little leprechaun shoes kicking up sparkly magic dust!? LOL

I can't seem to get a good shot of the background papers I made for this so I'll just tell you what I did. For the orange background I cut shamrocks from the same paper, glittered them and glued them on randomly. Then for the white label die behind the leprechaun, I randomly stamped "I believe in leprechauns" and embossed with clear powder.

MCT 3D Wednesday time!

Welcome to another edition of 3D Wednesday with My Creative Time. Today's project is a St. Paddy's Day treat. Complete with rainbow and a pot of gold!

I immediately thought of a leprechaun hat when I saw this little storage container!! But I didn't want to make it all green, I wanted the gold candies to show through. So instead I used green glitter. Super simple {and messy, er I mean, sparkly! Yeah, sparkly!} The sentiment and shamrocks are from the newest release, You're My Pot of Gold. I even glittered the sentiment. Go me!

To glitter the shamrock, I ran a small piece of cardstock through the xyron first then glittered it for full coverage before running the die through. Worked great and the glitter stays on really well that way.

I hope you've enjoyed my quick little project today. I was thinking originally of doing these for the grands, but mass producing with glitter would be too much trauma so if you decide to do multiples of these, I'd recommend spray painting the lids green. {Which, in all honesty, I would have done had I had green paint.} Anyhoo....have a good week and go get glittery!!!!

Product List:
My Creative Time, You're My Pot of Gold, sentiment and shamrock die
Quickutz rainbow and cloud die set
Martha Stewart glitter, peridot green
Stampendous, Stamp and Bond embossing powder
Versamark embossing ink, glossy accents

It's another Peachy Tuesday!

I can't tell you how exciting it has been to be sharing peachy goodness with you as guest contributor on the Peachy Keen blog for February! One of the first PK stamps I ever got were these faceless veggies. Well, I literally squealed with delight when I saw the sentiment sets for the faceless veggies and fruits, so you know I had to have them! BONUS PROJECT: scroll to the next post and see another new Peachy creation I made for this month's Sketch Challenge!

Aren't these hot little peppers the cutest! The cute squiggle stamp at the top also comes with the veggies. Had to choose the adorable cornies faces to go with these silly guys. I stamped one pepper backwards so they would be facing each other. Then I outlined it with a fine marker to simulate the stamp line and drew on the reflections with white pen. The tiny sombrero is a Quickutz die and the tortilla chips I made using my paper crimper. Don't eat them....they wouldn't taste as good as they look, I guarantee.  LOL

I popped the peppers with foam tape onto the label, AND, ay caramba, they wobble!!!! Thank you so much for checking out my card today. I sure had fun with this one!

Then this release came out..... Holy heck, it's outta this world! I love it all! Here's a quick card I did using the February release set, PKSC-14 and PK-173, Great Vibes Robots. And more wobbles! After nearly 33 years together, I still get butterflies when I hear hubs' truck coming home after work. :)

She's on a wobble....

and she has a clear shield in her helmet. LOL

 And he wobbles too!

Peachy Sketch Challenge, 13-7

Today's card is for the February challenge, 13-7, over on the Peachy Keen Challenge Blog. I used the new Jetsons release, as I like to call it. Love the cute faces, robots, space ship, rocket and EVERYTHING!!!! It was hard to decide just which pieces to use on my card there are so many and they are all fab.

I finally settled on the adorable little rocket ship. :)

I added silver stickles to the tip and tails, and for the launch trail{or whatever it's called}, I added dots of stickles to make it look extra firey-ish {?? you know what I mean! LOL} On the hatch window I added glossy accents to make it look like glare on the glass.

Sentiment is a two parter and the ticket dies are by My Creative Time.

All you have to do is leave a comment here and on the other designer blogs. I can't stress enough, if you want to win, PLEASE leave your email address so we can contact you.  Winners will be selected using random.org . The more blogs you comment on, the more chances you have to win. Deadline is midnight Sunday, February 17. Emma will announce the winners on her blog on Tuesday, February 19. Good luck!

Special note regarding the featured TREAT SLIDER DIE
The Treat Slider Die is a larger die, and for this reason will ALWAYS be a PRE-ORDER item. Please allow a 2 week turn-around for delivery of this die. ALSO, this will be sold individually and will NOT be included with the bundle.

Now, let's get to the crafty business! I'm so super excited about this release and I know you are too. If you have any desire at all to own them, I'd recommend you get to the store ASAP as I'm sure the first order won't last long. Just sayin'! Today we are featuring the awesome new Treat Slider Box Die Set. This set is really quite versatile, and doesn't HAVE to be used only with the Hershey Nugget candies as you see here. They will also accommodate Hershey Bliss and Reese's miniature peanut butter cups.

Here I have used the actual box portion as a card! I simply folded the bottom to make a pocket and added two of the fab tickets inside with lovey messages on them. The scalloped wrap makes the perfect matching "label" on the front of my card for a message. And check out the flower. I've used one of the petal dies for the base and for my flower I used the new stitched doily. Can you say awe-some!? I love how it looks all rolled up with the pretty lacy looking edges.

For the candy tray, I have used it a little differently leaving both ends open, which accommodates one more piece of candy. Closed the box holds 4 nuggets; open and used simply as a tray, it holds 5.

Here is a side view of the tray so you can see how I left the ends open and did not use the box portion.

I've adorned the candy tray with two more tickets, a tiny flower from the stitched circle die, and look -- this super pretty butterfly also from this new release, Chunky Jar Accessories, and tied the bag with matching twine.

Are you excited yet? Have you already ordered these stamps and dies? LOL Well, you still have a couple of blogs left to comment on, including our guest designer for this release, Barbara. Today we are featuring this new die set, Treat Slider Box. SO.MANY.USES!!!!!! This one holds Hershey Nugget candies for Easter; possibly for the mail lady.

I love these pretty papers by Authentique. I got them a long time ago and had not yet found the perfect use for these gorgeous coral, aqua and brown colors.....until now! I think they are perfectly Easter-ish.

Also shown with the treat slider box is this little bunny die from another new set with this release!!! And so are the sentiments as well as the label on the slider top. The grass is a Quickutz die.

And since it IS Valentine's Day after all, here's another little treat using the slider box (note you do not have to use Hershey nuggets with it) as well as the awesome new doily die, tickets, and more! Happy Heart Day peeps!

Look at the adorable "flower wrap" for my lollipop from the doily die. So cute I can hardly stand it!
