Pretty Pink Pirate Hat

Journaling:

Grace was just over a year old when Jeffery was still in his pirate phase. She wanted to wear a pirate hat like her big brother, so Cyndi got her some cute pink bandanas. Gracie wore them all the time. They made very cute pirate hats.

just chill'n

Grace enjoying a lazy day. What a great place to chill, Grace!

Seahurst Park

I wanted to use up some of my favorite scraps so instead of just using horizontal or vertical strips, I wove them together to make a background and was able to use twice as many strips this way! :) For the embellishments, I ran a matching piece of leftover paper through the xyron and adhered it to two layers of cardstock then cut the flowers and popped with foam tape for dimension. I did some outlining and added a little bit of Stickles for pizzaz. The title letters are QuicKutz alphabets, Spicy Chicken and Sunshine.

Snowman

This is layout number 26 of 52--halfway to my yearly goal! Woohoo! :)

The "snow" along the bottom of the page is popped off with foam tape. I don't know why the scan picked up the shadow on just one side, but that's what the dark line is along the bottom left. It should be all along the bottom so you can see the layering, but oh well.

I added stickles to the snowmen and just touches at the top of the "snowbanks" to add sparkle. You will also notice the snowmen's "arms" are sticking out of their heads, to mimic Gracie's snowman. :)The swirlies on the blue are rub-ons.

Title is QK Roxy. The rest are Doodlebug cardstock stickers.
