Wedding Planner

Added final touches yesterday. All but the "money" related papers came from one page kit, 6 pattern papers, by Autumn Leaves that I got at WM for about $7. Beaded flower trim and beaded embellishment on the front are inexpensive items from WM wedding aisle, shoe charm on top from WM jewelry/beading aisle. Lots of QuicKutz, some altered Jolee's stickers, and overall an inexpensive project. It's a surprise for my niece who got engaged on Christmas. When she asked me to do her wedding invitations, I knew I had better hustle on the planner! TFL!

Mother's Little Helper

Grace loves doing girl stuff and helping in the kitchen is one of her favorite things to do. Even washing dishes!

For this page I used three different alphabets for the title. QK Journal grand, Blossom mini, and MaryJane cookie cutter grand.

Oh my, cutie pie

Gracie's 4th birthday. A tutu AND tap shoes!
What more could a girl ask for?
Doesn't she look like one of those chubby little
Campbell's Soup Kids here!?

"Eye"scara

Oh Gracie, how many times has mommy told you to stay out of her makeup?

Eyescara....not mascara, but eyescara. No matter how many times you've been corrected, you still call it eyescara. Here you are after trying it on your own. You were NOT happy to see yourself in the mirror!

Uh oh. Looks like you've been busted, Gracie!

Pink Pirate Princess

Gracie in her pretty pink pirate princess tee-shirt and "first grade hair". I can't believe how grown up she looks with her shorter hair.

This page done in mostly Rusty Pickle; rubons are Basic Grey, Heidi Swapp & misc. bling.

it may not be pretty but it was free

Christopher had done some work for a guy who was down on his luck and wasn't able to pay him. So he gave him this car. It didn't run. Had no seat covers. Wasn't worth much. But Christopher agreed to the deal and towed the car home. Turns out there was merely a loose connection and he had it running within minutes of getting it home! So Beka made seat covers for it and he uses it to putter around, run errands, and meet the guys at the car pool. It goes through a quart of oil in about 200 miles, has no heater, and sounds like a truck three times its size. But it was basically free. :)

2 page layout

Can't even remember the last time I did a two-page layout! Well, here is layout number 16 of the year, Cyndi's photo shoot for her Christmas cards, 2003. Grace was not yet 3, totally into the shoot and had her own ideas. The final photo on the bottom right was her idea and she insisted Cyndi take that one with her pudgy little hands crossed on the sun dial. I don't think she will EVER be camera shy, this one. :)

Flowers and hearts all QuicKutz; computer generated text.

Like mother, like daughter!

I'm proud to say that Cyndi is like me and doesn't wait around for someone else (i.e. her husband, LOL) to get things done around the house when things need to be fixed, rearranged, or redone. She gets an idea and jumps in with both feet. You go, girl!
These pics were taken in August, 03 when she and SIL found a place after their home finally sold. Here she is getting down to business.

Lots of QK shapes, title letters are QK Blossom mini alphabet. TFL!

Cake

Gracie enjoying birthday cake at Pat's 40th birthday bash in 2003. Love that sweet little face.

Sorry for the blur. The buttons are rather lumpy so it made it a little harder to get a good scan.

Papers are Cosmo Cricket Storytime Collection. Flowers, leaves, and tabs along the bottom are QuicKutz. Title letters are QK Snowday.
