Love this sketch from PageMaps. You'll be seeing this one again in an upcoming Scrapbuggy challenge as well.

For today's version I used only one die - from the Spellbinders floral doily motif set. The flags are scraps I cut by hand. Stitching is a rubon, sentiment is by SRM Stickers, Life is Good sentiment set, and the 3D flower embellishment is a sticker by K&Co., complete with bling.

Thanks for coming by. Hope you're having a great week!

Har har! I love play on words...even though that one is a bit out there, I thought I was funny and made myself laugh. ;) Have you seen Verve Stamps? Someone {named Gia - LOL} told me about them and I fell hard. They are really nice and I recommend them highly if you enjoy stamping at all.

Anyhoo....I used the Verve Stamps, Better With You coffee set for this card; the "java" jumbled words for a background on one side and the coffee ring stain on the other.  Oh and the vapor above the cup is also a stamp from that set.

The coffee cup and saucer are a 2x2 Quickutz doublekutz die.
Product List:
Quickutz coffee cup and saucer, KS0592
My Mind's Eye, Stella & Rose paper pad
Bazzill Swiss Dot cardstock

Sleeper Bear

I think I might have mentioned a couple of times how much I love the button bear by Buggy Designs. :) And after the last card I made with this die, {he was cut from super cute paper with a star pattern on it} I had a brainstorm and thought, how cute would it be to use pattern paper and put him in a sleeper!

Here he is, ahem, I mean, SHE is in her sweet little blanket sleeper, all ready for bed. I used Peachy Keen stamps again for the face {these are from a die/stamp set} and the teensy little buttons really make it look like pj's don't they! I used a piece of twill ribbon for the blankie she holds in her hand. The pacifier is from the Buggy Designs baby accessories die.

Butterfly and mini hearts are both from the Buggy Designs Build-a-Cupcake. Sentiment is from three different My Creative Time stamps; 'sweet' and 'baby' from All-Star Baby, and 'dreams' from Follow Your Dreams.

Scrapbuggy Buggy Designs, Button Bear

Scrapbuggy Buggy Designs, Build-a-Cupcake

My Creative Time Monday Madness

Hope you had a great weekend, cuz like it or not, today is Monday! ;) Not to worry, the Creative Time team has some great projects to share with you to make your Monday a little brighter. My assignment was to use the All Around Christmas set.

In addition, I used the 'girl pennant' from the Build-a-Banner kit.

The project I'm sharing today is a Christmas theme mini explosion box. I LOVE making these adorable little boxes for small gifts for any occasion throughout the year. I used this same pattern to make 250 of them for my niece's wedding a couple of years ago. These little boxes measure 2 inches and are perfect for gifts of jewelry, a small toy or candy treat, and they fit beautifully in small hiding places. They are also great for stocking stuffers.  When I was a kid, my dad would hide small presents in the branches of the Christmas tree. It was so much fun to find them, I carried this tradition down to my own kids.

and they are easy to open too. Just take off the top and the box pops open on its own. Fun!

Here is a link to a previous post with instructions for how to make this little box. You'll be surprised just how quick and easy it is to make. You can easily become addicted so be careful when the ideas start flowing! LOL

Product List:
My Creative Time, All Around Christmas
My Creative Time, Build-a-Banner kit
My Mind's Eye, Lost and Found Christmas paper pad
Tim Holtz Distress inks, Fired Brick and Walnut Stain
Offray sheer ribbon

It's time for Gilby's Craftster Makeover Doggie Walk!!

Welcome to the Doggie Walk Blog Hop! I'm so glad you came to see my new made over blog - if you hadn't already! If you haven't been here in a while and this is a new look for you, please feel free to look around and check out the other pages (some still in progress) and be sure to turn on your speakers....we have tunes in the new studio too!

My sweet princess Joey is no longer with us, but she's been part of my scrapping and my blog for as long as I've been doing this fabulous hobby, so I think she would enjoy being here for the walk with everyone else's doggies and pets! Joey was such a sweetheart. She loved to pose for the camera {isn't she a diva?} and put up with my shenanigans for the sake of my scrapbooks! LOL She went to doggie heaven in January and we miss her.

Grace was my inspiration to begin scrapbooking archivally. It was about the time of these photos that I first started "gathering" scrapbook supplies. Grace and Joey were buddies from day one. Joey was so gentle with her and Grace was never even the least bit apprehensive of Joey, even putting cookies in her mouth. LOL. Of course, cookies never hurt when making friends. LOL Grace is 10 years old now and has been scrapbooking with me since she was 3 years old.

Here are just a few of the diva's poses for her Princess portfolio. 1) Serious. 2) She would wait at the gate like this, peeking under, nearly every day when hubs would get home from work. So silly! But my fave was 3) her, "Look at me, take my picture!" pose with her head tilted to one side like a supermodel. LOL

I believe this one is the last photo I ever took of Miss Joey, taken as you can see, at Christmas time. She was such a trooper to wear the blinking lights antlers and pose for Christmas pictures, even though she wasn't happy about it. She was so sweet to wait till I got the shot and even waited for me to take it off for her.

Ok let's get to the important stuff. There will be doggie treats {prizes} so how can you go wrong!  We have some really great doggie treats from some fabulous sponsors -- thank you SO MUCH to ALL our sponsors!!! -- and you're not going to want to miss them. Just to drop a few names you might recognize, how about Cricut, My Creative Time, Peachy Keen, Bugaboo Stamps, Pink by Design and many more!! We'll be walking and hopping through Sunday night, 10:30 eastern time {which will be 7:30 p.m. Scrapendipity time if you aren't sure}. Winners will be randomly chosen and announced Tuesday night. And you will have 16 chances to win merely by walking to each blog, becoming a follower {if you aren't already} and sharing a comment on the awesome makeover projects we have for you. What could be easier!?

Now for my makeover project. I love repurposing and the makeover theme couldn't be any more perfect for my recycled packaging tag. This is my tag in its original form, minus the Bo Bunny jewels that came on it, of course:

Front:                                                            Back:

And the makeover..... I LOVE how this turned out. Won't it be a pretty gift tag on a Christmas package?!

Here are the highlights:

Handmade flower embellishment. LOTS of stuff here. Sorry the glimmer mist doesn't show particularly well in the photo but the leaves and flower petals look amazing in real life.

Bow and "tag-on-tag" embellishment

I used the heart from Game Night to stamp a cute border. Also the tiny heart from the Happy Mail set.

And the polka dot background stamp from the Build a Banner kit for my ladybug. Also from the banner kit, I used the pointed banner shape for my tag, and the stitched circle for my ladybug head and body. His wings are a heart turned upside down. You'll never guess what I used for his antenna-thingies....the apostrophe from a QK mini alphabet! Didn't he turn out cute!

My tag message comes from the My Favorite Sayings stamp set.

Add ribbon, bow and one of my handmade stick pins for embellishment and here you have my sweet ladybug card!

Oh, but wait, there's more! In honor of National Stamping Month, Emma has made this special bonus set, FREE with the first 100 orders placed during this release!!!

But guess what else....if you are not one of the fortunate first 100, you can still purchase these through the store. Aren't they great!

I used the circle message with the stitched scallop die on my card:
