MFT Sketch #546

Quick post just to share my latest using the adorable new release, You Keep Me Afloat, from My Favorite Things. Also, the embossed background (gotta look hard for it) is the new Scallop Stripe background stamp embossed in clear over Copic blending card. This will be the last until mid-to-late July. Hope you like.

Have a crafty summer. See you when I get back!

Foam tape is our friend!!

Quick note

Happy hump day, crafty peeps! Just wanted to leave a quick note to let you know I do have a project in progress, but also that I'm going to be out of town for a bit so the blog will be quiet for the next few weeks. I do hope you'll continue to check out other projects I've posted in the meantime.

This is the sweet stamp set I'm currently working with. Adorableness from the newest My Favorite Things release called You Keep Me Afloat.

See you when I get back from sunny California. Thanks so much for always checking on my stuff.

Much love and crafty vibes,

MFT Sketch #545

This week's sketch for My Favorite Things. I turned it on its side for this version, and continued the message to the inside.

I don't even remember the last time I used this cute jungle animals stamp set, Safari Friends. And I had to add pretty pink polish to the toenails of this sweet little elephant.
Dimension, dimension, dimension. Might as well be my middle name. LOL
Inside message continued from the front (it actually is one stamp which I separated).

My Favorite Things, Sketch 544

Sketch this week is a slimline design. I've used a mini slimline card for my version, along with an older stamp set called Sushi Date. (I do not eat sushi, but the images are adorbs. LOL) Also, I didn't just use circles, I used holes! Don't fall in. LOL

The barely there background is Tim Holtz flowery stencil, 077 with MFT sour apple ink. I wanted something subtle but still fitting with the theme. Not easy to see in the pics, but it fits the bill perfectly. Behind the bamboo, I used the pagoda image from another My Favorite Things set (Ninja-mazing) stamped lightly in MFT kraft ink.
I popped the entire panel with foam tape and then added foam to some of the elements as well.
Copic colors I used for this one, just a few.
