MFT Sketch 529

Almost missed this week's sketch challenge, but here I am by the skin of my teeth! I'm pretty impressed with me to have cranked out this card over the last hour when I should really be in bed asleep. LOL AND I really like it and didn't want to throw it in the trash (which has been known to happen when I rush). Anyhoo, I hope you like it too.

The coffee stamps are by Altenew from the Coffee Love stamp set. Sentiment by My Favorite Things from the Coffee Break sentiments.

I'm not sure you can tell by the pics, but I used glossy accents on the coffee pot as well as the coffee in the mug.
Foam tape because that's what I do. ;)
Copic colors are E47, E74, and YG93.
You don't need anything special to join the My Favorite Things challenges. Check them out on the MFT blog!

My Favorite Things, Color Challenge #159

Today's card is a slimline design. These tall cards have made a comeback recently and now there are dies out there to make it even easier to create this style card. They fit into a business sized envelope (#9 or #10) and give you lots of real estate to play with.

I used the foliage from MFT, Winter Songbirds to add more of the color palette.
I couldn't wait to use this new stamp set from the Concord & 9th January release. So simple, but so effective.

Coordinating copics to fit the color challenge.
This month's color palette.

My Favorite Things, Slimline card dies
My Favorite Things, Winter Songbirds stamps and dies

Valentine Mini-Book

WARNING: Photo overload!!!!

You guys.....I finished my project and, oh my goodness, I super love how it came out!!! If only my hubsy would understand. LOL!! Anyway, here are a gazillion photos for you; a pic of every page and a couple extra. I used tons of dies, and virtually no coloring and only a couple of stamp sentiments, and a TON of embellishments. Papers and stickers from the Simple Stories, My Valentine collection. So grab a cuppa whatever you prefer, and have a sit down. Please enjoy!

(Before adding personal messages. ;) )
