MFT Box Card Challenge, Winter Scene

Here we are with another box card for the MFT challenge. I used color challenge #156 for this one. It was really hard for me to color the trees blue, but I did it and I like how it turned out. I guess that's why it's called a "challenge" ... ?? LOL

MFT Outside the Box challenge, Winter Scene

Winter scene using My Favorite Things stamps and dies. The outside the box dies are so amazing. For this one I used the original rectangle background along with the level up add on. There are things I would've done differently on this one if I'd had a clear vision before I started, but it turned out ok anyway. How can you go wrong with such sweet images, right?!

Day 11, The Daily Marker + MFT Challenge

As promised, here is my finished card for Day 11. This was really fun and super easy to put together using the Outside the Box Level Up die set from My Favorite Things.

The little birds are the sweetest and so much fun to color, and the foliage is the cutest. For Day 11, I  added a few more bits of foliage as well as one of the cute little girls and the fence from the Snow Buddies stamp set (also by MFT) and a few mushrooms from Hangin With My Gnomies, another adorable set from My Favorite Things.

Again, these box cards are so awesome because they fold flat for mailing. The recipient will be amazed!

Copic colors I used for this one were very few compared to my usual huge pile of colors. LOL The paper pad is an oldie from my stash from My Mind's Eye, Lost and Found 2, Sunshine 6x6.

Day 10, The Daily Marker

Still in love with the adorable Winter Songbirds from My Favorite Things. I also love a yellow and gray color combo and was inspired by Elma Wisse to use it for today's challenge. Stay tuned tomorrow when I will post my finished box card for the final day of the coloring challenge!

Day 9, The Daily Marker Challenge and My Favorite Things challenges

Today's card is for the My Favorite Things Sketch #516 and my second card for Color challenge #153. I colored the snowmen for Day 9 of The Daily Marker Coloring Challenge and then added the foliage in the same color scheme at the MFT challenge because they are so cute and I needed a little something else to add.

The snowmen are from the Present Time set by Birdie Brown for My Favorite Things. The foliage is from the new release, Winter Songbird.

Day 8, The Daily Marker

Continuing from Day 7, the gnomes need a home! :)

Day 7 gnomes from yesterday

I kinda love how the finished card turned out. Another box card using My Favorite Things die sets. This one is the new release "low profile" design combined with the also new "level up" set.

And this one also folds flat for mailing. So much fun to make, and also to receive!

Copic colors:

The pattern paper which I didn't choose until after I had colored my images, btw!, is an old 6x6 My Mind's Eye from the Lost & Found 3 collection called Oliver. I love the muted yellows and blues in this line. Oh, I just noticed the red for the ladybugs didn't make it into the picture - I used R29.
