MFT Camp Create, Day 4 Background Bonanza

Disclaimer: Backgrounds are the hardest for me!

I feel like I wussed out on this one, using a stencil. I'll keep playing and see if I can come up with something more "bonanza" than this. Sigh. Regardless, here is my (first attempt) for Day 4. 

Background stencil by Tim Holtz, ink color Orange Fizz (retired from My Favorite Things). Mountain  (Aloha) and palms (Good Day) by Ellen Hutson. Hut from Tiki Party (retried from My Favorite Things) and sentiment also from Tiki Party, pieced together. 

MFT Camp Create, Day 3 Emboss Resist

Today's assignment is Emboss Resist. I love this technique and used it for the water on today's card. The stamp is a background stamp from My Favorite Things, Scallop Stripe, and the ink color is Blue Breeze. Sentiment by Ellen Hutson from the Good Day stamp set.

White embossing powder is perfect if you want a quiet background. 

MFT Camp Create, Day 2 Wonderful Watercolor

For my watercolor image I chose this one from Altenew Pen Sketched Flowers, using my favorite water color medium, Distress Inks. Sentiment by Ellen Hutson, Pure Magic stamp set. I liked it better before I added the blue background. Oh well.

MFT Camp Create, Day 1 Spectacular Shakers

I wasn't thrilled at all with my first shaker as it was way less than spectacular LOL so I made another one. I like this better, and it is more fitting for the spectacular category than the plain square one I did yesterday. So let's just move on, shall we.....

Hello hello Crafty friends! Summer has been amazing and my longer than expected vacay has ended. Had a blast with my sister in sunny SoCal, but glad to be back home and in the studio. I hope you've had a great summer, so far, and will join me in the coming crafty events. :)

Today is Day 1 of My Favorite Things, Camp Create 2021. 

Theme for today's project: Spectacular Shakers. 

Well, my shaker isn't spectacular, but I just got back from a 30+ day vacay, so I'm giving me some slack on this one. LOL Hope you enjoyed it anyway. ;)
