Try Me Tuesday - Box style card

Welcome to a new try-me Tuesday. I hope you are enjoying these challenges as much as we are. Today's project is pretty cool, I think. I had never done this or even seen it before and I was glad it was fairly simple to do even though it may look somewhat difficult.

For my card, I chose to use the small jar die to create my window instead of the usual circle or square. To make my flower embellishment, I used the stitched petals and leaf dies. I took my card a step further and, rather than leaving the "window" open, I added clear acetate to the jar and scored it so that it folds with the card.

I love the look of this and will likely use this card style again. There are so many possibilities for embellishing and wowing your non-crafty friends with this design, and another cool thing about this style card is that while it is dimensional, it folds flat for mailing!  Awesomesauce! I hope you'll try this some time too. Easy tutorials can be found on youtube.
