More mini book projects!

I haven't stopped working with the QK Holiday Gift Set release since I got back from Utah. LOL These are the most fun ever. And so versatile!! They are selling like hotcakes and have sold out in most places so if you want it and see it someplace you better grab it. When this run is sold out, QK isn't making anymore and you could end up having to resort to that auction place (ahem, you know what I mean!). ;)
Check out this grama reminder book. ;) With 8 grandkids to shop for, I don't always remember what their sizes are or what their Christmas wishes are, so I made this little book to toss in my purse when I go Christmas shopping. I used the pocket page insert for the peppermint mini album to hold the kids' wish lists and just the front piece of the spine on this one as the book is really just the cover and one page. The Quickutz adhesive white chipboard is awesome. I adhered the pattern paper to the outside and the inside is a nice shiny finish. Bound it together with large jump rings and tied ribbon in the center holes. The Santa's Workshop alphabet is part of the gift set; the spine and pocket page are add-on pieces that can be purchased separately.

For this hot cider gift, I used the Sugarplum mini album and folder insert page. Tie the cinnamon stir stick in the spine with ribbon, add a ribbon closure and tag if you'd like and you've got the perfect mini gift for a teacher, neighbor, mailman, or manicurist. Tuck in a tea bag and sweetener packet with a spoon tied in the spine, or a packet of hot chocolate if cider isn't your thing.

This is the one we made at the retreat. Here we used fabric on the adhesive chipboard for the cover. Isn't this a cute idea!

Isn't this a cute way to give a gift card? This is the Wintergreen cover, pocket page and spine. Quick and easy, and makes a great presentation.

And this is one we made at the retreat. I just love this idea. And it could be turned horizontally as well, of course.

That's all for today. I'm still working though and will have even more goodies to share soon. I love this release.....have I mentioned that? :)
