My Creative Time Design Team Day

Welcome to Thursday, my design team day for My Creative Time! This week my assignment was to use the Any day Bingo and Crossword set on anything but a card. As you can see, I've done a layout of my sweet great-niece, the cutest baby in all the world -- I might be a tad bit biased, but then see for yourself. LOL

Here's my page.

Bingo card and Anyday Crossword alphabet set

For my date tag, I used the curly label die and coordinating stamp from the Happy Homecoming set with the crossword alphabet. Holly and pine cone dies are by Quickutz.

Embellies: Layered flowers with holly leaves, bling, pearls, and metal snowflake charm; sheer ribbon, tiny snowflake and bling, holly leaves and flower.

Thanks a latte

Today's project is this quick and simple thank you card made from scraps. I used Quickutz banner die 0910, paper scraps from other projects, and Better With You Verve stamps. Inside you could easily fit a Starbucks gift card as a way of thanking someone special.

The latte cup is a stamp but you could also use the adorable Quickutz die, 0999. The die is just a tad smaller than the stamp and you wouldn't have to cut it by hand as I did here. The leaves are also by Verve Stamps, from the Sunny Days set.

Product list:
Quickutz banner pennant, 0910
Verve Stamps, Better With You
Verve Stamps, Sunny Days
Various pattern paper scraps by October Afternoon
Ribbon, ink, button, twine

Scrapbuggy Challenge #9

For this week's Scrapbuggy challenge, we're working with this sketch from PageMaps.

Here's my layout using this design. I love the layout of the sketch, but you know me and details...I couldn't stop without adding a few more. ;) Please excuse the funky coloring. Lumpy scans tend to do that, sorry. This is grandgirl, Emmy, in an outfit of her own design, posing for mom. So glad to have pics like this that their mommies send me!

It's so much fun scrapping everyday moments like this. Now on to the details....  Label tab from the Quickutz windows and labels release, heart is from the heart frame rev die, cookie cutter flower, and various foliage {not quickutz}. The date stamp and "i {heart} this", are K&Co, for my Smash book.

Nesting circles for the title block, cookie cutter nesting flower, more foliage, and Martha Stewart butterfly punch. Title is computer generated.

Product List:
Bazzill textured cardstock
October Afternoon pattern papers,  The Thrift Shop
Quickutz large scallop edger
Quickutz nesting flowers
Quickutz fancy label
Quickutz heart frame, Rev0086
Stampin Up spiral edge punch
Cottage Cutz orchid flower {foliage}
Computer generated journaling and title
Buttons, staples, ribbon, stickles, ink
