Halloween Every Day, Day 24

I'm not even sure what days I've posted and what days I haven't, tbh! The numbers don't really matter, we'll be Halloweening until the very last day anyway. Hahaha! Regardless, here is the project we made yesterday. Again, from a file folder piece. I love working with them. How weird am I?!?

Card Wallet -Wow. I loooove this project. (But I've loved every project so far! haha) This is another brain child of Crafty by Toni. Started as file folder. I love crafting with file folders. Finished book measures 6x6, including tab. 

There are 5 card pockets inside. Tuck in tags, journaling spots, photos, whatever you want. 

The pockets measure about 5 3/4 x 3 inches.

This is how we started. Toni purchased some already made pocket frames at Michael's and shared measurements, so I made one; step one. Finished piece is 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 inches, closed.

This one is from Day 17. I forgot to even get pictures of this one much less post. Oh well, better late than never. I've already placed this one in the journal even. Love how it turned out though! 

We made three pieces for this page. The top one is one of the cluster tabs we did on Day 11, I believe it was.

This piece is an opening window for journaling or a small photo. 

The final piece is a pocket. This is another piece of a Heidi Swapp paper. So very cool.

Fun acetate photo waterfall pages. These were super simple to make; I actually made three of them because the first one I did was in the wrong orientation for how I want to use it. (I'll add tabs to that one later and maybe use it somewhere else.) This project is actually for two days as we made the cluster tabs one day, then the acetate pages yesterday. My Halloween junk journal is coming along so very very cool! It's nice and fat and chunky and I love it!!

Halloween Every Day, (post 3 for today!)

I actually finished today's project TODAY! Go me. LOL Toni used a super cute large tag-shaped gift bag for her page, and after attempting to recreate one, I abandoned the idea and just used a lunch bag. Duh! I was worried it might be too thin, but once it was covered and glued into the journal, I think it will be fine. We have a jumbo pocket (the bag, of course), and a small pocket on the front as well (just fold up the bottom of the bag). Pretty cute, yes?!

Today's project is a matchbook photo album. This is so cool. We used acetate for the cover and vellum for the inside pages, and added frames to each of them. I love how it turned out, as you can see the staggered frames behind each other with the book closed. 

It doesn't show very well in the photos, but can you see in each of the frames we added spider webs?? I put a spider in each of them so they show up a little better. So clever!

More Halloween Every Day

Sorry I've been so slow at posting these projects. I'm a slow crafter, so most of these are taking me a day or two to finish, then I'm behind so I have to catch up and then I put off writing the post and ... on it goes! I have a minute now before the next project is posted, so I'm typing like a bat outta heck to get this one up. LOL! 

I love this page. We have three tags over a large pocket that all fold out to allow for journaling and/or photos. These designs are all so fun to create. Be sure to check out Crafty By Toni's youtube channel for all these projects and a zillion more of her fantastic designs!

Halloween Every day

I'm so behind in posting, so sorry!! If you follow my Instagram, you will have seen what I've shared so far on the Halloween Every day journal we made. The journal is bonkers!!! My most ambitious project that I can remember, actually. 

My journal is 6 x 9 inches with a 2 1/2 inch spine for lots and lots of fat, chunky embellishments inside. Made from chipboard and black cardstock. That's it! It is so cool, and I'm really proud of how nice it turned out. Can't wait to till it up. It's going to be flippin amazing. 

I'll be adding more embellishment to it as we go, but this is what I did today. Covered all the flaps, of the back pocket page, added a string closure and acetate pocket and spooky spider.
