Mass Make March, Day 12, 13, 14

I can't even believe tomorrow is the 15th already. We are halfway through the month, you guys! Here's what I've been up to the past few days. I'm having too much fun, I tell ya. ;)

Day 12: MINI FILE FOLDERS

Cute, cute, cute!! You can make them in any size you want to, as we did not use dies for these. Super simple; you just need scissors and a ruler for the basic folder. After that, use whatever you want to embellish or leave them plain.

We used the page tabs we made yesterday (day 11), which means I'll have to make another bunch of them so I'll have some on hand when I need them again (which is what we sort of tried to do yesterday LOL). We used stamps, ephemera, digital files, and more. Anyway, I love them.

The first one I made measures 5x3 inches, not including the tab. After I made this one, I decided it was just a little too big for how I will most likely use them.

I made the rest of them  (11 more) at 4 1/2x 2 1/2 inches, not including the tab.

Again, here is the link to Toni's you tube channel, and the link to vibe of vintage etsy shop for the digitals I used.

Day 13: DISTRESSING PHOTOS

Wow. Today's project was a messy one. LOL At least for me it was. I will definitely need to spend some time practicing this technique, but for a first attempt, I think these are okay.

The one on the left is downtown Tacoma, my hometown, in what looks like (from the cars etc) the 1920s or 30s. The photo on the right is the Puyallup Fair (now called the Western Washington State Fair) in 1929. I love this picture especially, because the Fisher scone booth is included. To this day Fisher scones are a huge part of the fair. We knew the Fisher family personally so that was cool to find this photo with their name prominently in view!

Day 14: ONE PAGE WONDERS

Today we made the cutest little folders/folios using just one sheet of 12x12 paper. These were really fun, and you can make them in so many different ways! I've shown some of them as they are fully opened up, but you really should check out Toni's you tube video to see them in all their glory. I made ten of them; two of the designs are 5x6, and the rest fold down to 4x6. I like that size best. These will be so much fun to decorate when it comes time to add them to a journal or scrapbook.

This is one of the 5x6 size.

Can you believe we are halfway through March already?! It's so weird how January lasts for 6 months and then the time just flies on by. LOL
