December....!!!

The year has flown by, don't you think?? And thank goodness. December has snuck up on us seemingly without warning. My apologies for being so far behind on blog posting!! Thanksgiving week we hit the road for the other side of the mountains and spent a wonderful weekend with family, sharing Thanksgiving on Thursday, and then surprising my parents on Friday with a 70th Anniversary Celebration!

My sister, niece and nephew-in-law and their kids came up from California for the surprise as well, so it was 3 of us 4 kids, some of our kids, and some of our kids' kids. It was an awesome group of about 30 of us celebrating mom and dad. And that was the day AFTER Thanksgiving at one of my niece's house where there was a different group of nearly 30 there too. We have so very much to be thankful for indeed!

Forgot to mention, the week before Thanksgiving, Dad had surgery on his hand.

So there's a little bit of our fun family Thanksgiversary weekend! It was pretty awesome, honestly. :)
