Peek-a-boo birthday card

Have you made an acetate card? I've made smaller tags before but this one is jumbo sized. This one is for Emmy's 15th. I'm in shock that she is halfway through her teen years and she's our youngest -I said YOUNGEST!- grandbaby of eight. Sigh. Anyway, her birthday is next month so I used this lesson from class to make my project for her. Super fun and how cool to have a see-through card? A Heidi Swapp design. 

It's fun to have the thinner transparency piece on the top with some of the elements attached so that it looks like one cohesive design...

...but then you lift it and the remaining pieces are the inside message on the heavier acetate piece.
