My Favorite Things, Sketch 666

Happy World Cardmaking Day, fellow crafters!

My first card today is for the current MFT sketch challenge. I used two older stamp sets for this one and decided on a Halloween theme since it is 1) October, 2) Halloween is coming, and 3) the sketch is 666! I could have gone a little more on the creepy side with that sketch number I suppose, but I don't want to push my luck with the evil Halloween goblins or anything, so I went with more of a cute rendition. LOL Hope you like.

I love this little frog with the look of bewilderment on his face. I used the sparkles around him because he always looks like he is under a spell....do you think he is waiting for the spell to turn him into a prince!?? He comes from the MFT Witch Way is The Candy stamp set.

The crosshatch die is by My Favorite Things. It is one of my favorite ways to add interest and texture to a background. For this one, I started with white cardstock and inked it with Distress Oxide, Picked Raspberry ink, which I also used for the spider webs.
The skull is from another MFT stamp set that has nothing to do with Halloween. Using images for something other than their original intention is one of my favorite ways of using my stamps. This guy comes from the adorable Party Like a Pirate set. The pumpkins are also from the Witch Way is The Candy set.
You can see how simple it would be to create a Halloween card with the Party Like a Pirate set. Seems there is always at least one pirate costume on Halloween night and these kids are adorable.
Copic colors I used for this card.
