MFT Sketch 557 and Color palette 172

Today's card is a combination of two current challenges at My Favorite Things. I've used the color palette with the sketch challenge. Super simple color combination, no frills or fancy stuff, just soft and yummy.  I like the final result!

TIP: Lay out all your cuts how you think you want them on your card before gluing anything. Take a pic with your phone when you have it the way you want it. Refer to the pic and glue the pieces together BEFORE you put them back on the card. This makes a great way to create a grouping and you can add foam tape to a few pieces or the whole cluster when adding it to the card front.

TIP 2: Here's a fun tip if you need enamel dots in a color you don't have in your stash. Using a marker (I use copics) make a dot on the paper where you want the enamel dot. Add a drop of adhesive (I use glossy accents) ....

then using a pick up tool, add a clear drop over the colored dot. This creates the illusion of a colored enamel dot!
