This week's challenge is flowers - lots of flowers! Pile them on...layer them on....throw them on! Just use lots of them. :) I used just one flower, from the Monthly Clipart set. Here's my card for this challenge.
After I resized them, I printed two sets so I could layer them. I used foam tape on just a few to add dimension. The sentiment is computer generated using the KG Melonheadz font.
Join us for this challenge and you could win a digi set hand drawn by Nikki Melonheadz herself!

Melonheadz Friends "Layer it up" Challenge
Layer up on layer...layering is a fun way to add lots of interest to a card, and this week's Melonheadz Friends challenge is to add lots of layers. Here's my card.
I used the super cute Nautical digi set for my design. The super cute anchor and life preserver are perfect for my card design.
I layered them with foam tape for extra dimension and one more layer. Cute!
The rope adds to the nautical feel. For more details and products I used today, see list below.
Thank you for checking out my cute card. I hope you'll join me and the rest of the Melonheadz team for this challenge.
Product List:
Melonheadz Illustrating, Nautical
My Creative Time, tag die; lost at sea stamp and die set (portal die)
My Creative Time, rectangle frames dies
Paper Smooches, Nauticool stamp set (sentiment; waves)
Carta Bella, Ahoy There 6x6 paper pad
foam tape, gold cardstock, jute rope

My Favorite Things, Sketch 270
Sketches are my favorite.
I used several My Favorite Things goodies to create my card for this week's sketch. The tag is from the Blueprints Tag builders 1 die set, all the blooms dies and stamps are from the super fun Fall Florals stamps and dies sets, and the sentiment is from the adorable You Gnome Me stamp set. Oh yeah, the chevron cut-outs are also My Favorite Things dies, called Peek-a-boo Chevrons, and the splatter background is Distressed Patterns. Yes, also by My Favorite Things!
These fall florals blooms are so much fun to play with. You can mix and match stamps and colors with the coordinating dies, or stamp directly onto your project as I did for the background of my tag. I even did a little doodling after I stamped.
