Welcome to this fun mini-release blog hop! If you arrived from Cindy's blog, you are right on track. If you need to start at the beginning, go HERE so you don't miss anything.
Emma has had many requests to make a coordinating die for her cute typewriter stamp in the Once Upon a Time stamp set and it's finally here! The new Never Be Lost set is a must have for your project life albums, scrapbook pages, smash booking, cards and more. The possibilities for these two new products are endless. So let's get started. Sit back, relax and hop along with us to see some amazing and different ways to use these two "tiny but mighty" releases.
BLOP HOP GIVEAWAY!
Leave your comments for a chance to win APRIL'S NEW RELEASE. It is AWESOME and I cannot wait for you to see it! Don't forget to leave a way for us to contact you should you be the LUCKY WINNER!
Winner is chosen randomly and will be announced on Emma's blog next Wednesday, March 19.
My first project is the ADORABLE typewriter die!!! I can't tell you how much I love this guy! Two of the Stitched Sweetheart dies make a great backdrop for my message, and how could I not use a flower and ribbon. I'm really pleased the way the card turned out.
I added red stickles to the tiny heart from the Once Upon a Time stamp set.
Each layer is two cuts. I stamped the typewriter three times and adhered two of the cuts together making three of the image, then put them together using foam tape between each of the layers. I love making my own 3D embellishments and this die is my favorite yet!
To make the textured area I used embossing paste with a stencil, then gently dragged an ink applicator over it using tattered rose distress ink. For my layers beneath the typewriter, I used the flag from Chocolate Greetings, a hex cut, and a tag from the Chunky Jar Accessories set. 12/9/83 is the day we were married. :)
You may have seen this next card on my blog last week.
I adhered a 3x4 journaling card die cut on the front of my card, then cut out a hex shape through both layers. The sentiment is one of several that come with the geotag, which I stamped on a label from the Chunky Jar Accessories dies. Inside, I adhered a stitched sweetheart die cut and added the red gem when the card was closed.
"Always" comes from the Girls' Night Out stamp set, but you could use any set that has the word you want to use.
Thanks for hopping with us today. Please continue to Micia's blog next, and remember to leave your contact info in your comments so we can reach you in case you are a winner!
