It's time for a new Designer Challenge! Glorajean is up this week with a Thanksgiving theme challenge. Create any project you wish, as long as you incorporate My Creative Time products using a Thanksgiving theme. Easy peasy!
I used the Piles of Smiles set for my sentiment, and Chunky Jar Accessories dies for the label. Card design pinterest-inspired.
For my second card, I used the Just For You tag stamps set, using just the "give thanks" part of the sentiment. All these papers and flowers were a RAK from a friend and former DT sister. Spellbinders dies for the backdrop and the Indian corn die by Cottage Cutz.
As soon as I saw this pattern paper, I knew it would be perfect for the Indian corn! Cool, huh?

3D Wednesday time!
Warning: TONS of pics! {and still not every page is pictured} Mini book. Oh, how I love making mini-books! This one is truly no exception. I have had this paper pad for so long and never used it, waiting for just the right project. Well, THIS is it. Featuring BoBunny, Weekend Market 6x6 papers, this book is jamb packed with lots and lots of tags, photo pages, pockets, and fun. I really love the finished project. Hope you will too. :)
The cover of my book gets lots of fun embellishments, including lace, tulle, flowers, beads, charms and tags. LOVE!
and sentiments,
journaling pages,
or just for fun.
There are large tag pages that you can easily add photos to as well as journaling.
And more tags, charms,
and photo pockets. This one has a window and slide-in photo pocket.
Lots of space for lots of photos,
journaling,
and artificial limbs. Oh wait....seriously?? An old ad for artificial legs and arms, the most perfect substitutions scientists had ever invented at the time. I was thinking the sewing machine ad was cool, and didn't even notice the leg ad until now. I had no idea they were sold through newspaper ads. Wow!
Well there you have my latest mini book. Totally love how each and every page and element turned out. The pictures simply do not do this paper line justice. It's really beautiful in person!

Totally Treats Tuesday!
Happy Tuesday (aren't you glad Monday is over? LOL) and welcome to another new feature in our Tuesday rotation. Every third Tuesday we'll be sharing treat ideas, great ways to package a special treat or small gift. We hope you'll enjoy this new feature and will be inspired to try some new ideas.
First is my Halloweeni-martini. Eyeball, anyone? LOL I didn't like the color of my hot pink martini glass so I painted it black and now I LOVE it! It's not plastic, btw. It's a real glass one. :)
Heck, I've been on a roll all month, and we still have a couple of days till candy time, so why not another Halloween treat. LOL This would be a great way to send home a goody with little party-goers or to give a neighbor. No messy frosting or a crumbly mess before they even get home.
Or you can add a sweet tag or embellishment for the occasion. Here I used the Holiday Tickets and Fright Night stamps, and the mini rosette die.
Super quick and easy project for last minute treat giving. You can do this for any occasion and it keeps the mess away until the goody makes it to someone else's house! LOL ;)
Product List:
Martini glass:
My Creative Time, Rolled flower die
My Creative Time, Index tab die
My Creative Time, Holiday Tickets stamp set
Cupcake treat holder:
My Creative Time, Holiday Tickets stamp set
My Creative Time, Fright Night stamp set
My Creative Time, Mini Rosette die
Ticket die, ribbon, bamboo skewer, plastic cup, clear treat bag

I used a simple plastic cup (I picked them up at the dollar store in the wedding section), a treat bag, and a bbq skewer. Tied with ribbon and you're good to go!

Scrapping The Little Things
Welcome to scrappy Monday, bloggy friends. I hope you had a great weekend. We finally might actually be fall for real here in Ephrata, judging from the temperatures. Makes me happy! I love the changing of the seasons.
Today's scrapbook page is brought to you by the letter F - for ferry! Grace goes to school on Vashon Island and takes the ferry to school every day. I would love riding the ferry to and from school! I asked her to take some pics for me, and this is one of them. The ferry coming up to the dock after school. Living on Puget Sound is so awesome.
For my school-ish layout, I used the glasses die, as Grace wears glasses now, and even put "lenses" in them. I love how they picked up the light for the pic. My papers are all school related; October Afternoon, Schoolhouse and Report Card lines; and Foof a la school papers -- can't find a name, sorry. They are old though and probably not available anymore.
I've also use the MCT doily die, holiday tickets, things I love, file folder die, and type calendar.
The tags are from the Foof a la kit.
Product List:
My Creative Time, Doily die
My Creative Time, Eyeglasses die
My Creative Time, File Folder die
My Creative Time, Holiday Tickets stamps

For our final day of last minute Halloween ideas, I'm sharing two quick and easy treat giving ideas. First up is this organza favor bag I found in the wedding aisle. I've had a bunch in my stash for some time actually. Imagine how cute these would be in black, orange, green or purple?! Or muslin. If I had muslin, the stamping would have shown up better, but oh well. You can kinda see it. I stamped it with the Build a Chevron Background stamp set in orange and black. Cool, huh?!
I added a label to the front and filled it with nugget candies wrapped with the MCT slider treat box die, made specifically for these candies. Cute!
But hold on....who isn't batty for treats!! This project is one the kids might enjoy making. Simple idea that would be great for classmates, teacher, babysitter, or special friend. Toilet paper rolls!! Yep. Easy recycle project that takes only a few minutes to create. Roll black paper around a toilet paper tube and adhere. Cut simple wing shapes by hand and glue to the back. Add googly eyes and a couple of white paper scrap fangs. Fold in one end, add candy, fold in the other end and viola! Super cute bat treats.
Add a tag if you like. I used the MCT curly labels and Spooky Starry Night stamp set.

Hello and welcome to Day 4 of our last minute Halloween project round-up! I have two more projects for you today. First up are these "You've Been Booed!" treat boxes. Great idea for a neighbor, teacher, or mailman. These boxes are Quickutz dies - french fry box and popcorn box.
The tickets and sentiment are from My Creative Time, of course! :)
Today's card looks more time consuming than it really is, so don't let that deter you. I merely made random diagonal score lines on the upper half of my card, then used washi tape to embellish the bottom portion and added a simple sentiment.
You don't have to, but I also added a mini rosette embellishment using the mini pumpkin from the All Around Holidays set. The star is a quickutz die. Also, you don't have to add the star confetti either, but I thought just a few of them would be the perfect touch for the sentiment and to tie in with the star behind the rosette.
Thanks for coming by today. Be sure to check out the other designer blogs as well for more last minute Halloween ideas.

Need another last minute idea for Halloween party beverages? Make labels for soda bottles, wine bottles, beer or cider. These are Starbuck's frappuccino bottles that I filled with colored water and dropped in a seltzer tablet for a fizzy affect, but 'real' bevs would be much tastier. ;)
I love the new ticket words.
For this one I used the Vintage label and banner die with the scalloped and stitched circles. See the tiny wine glasses? Those are from the All Around Holidays stamps and mini dies set just released. Super cute!
This was a vinegar bottle I snagged from the dollar store about a year ago. I covered the 'vinegar' with a 'poison' label and added this icky colored water for affect.
Doesn't it look creepy? And so not tasty! The skull and crossbones washi tape is the perfect finishing touch!
And then I had another flash of inspiration!! I made these shrinky ghosts using the Spooky ghost die and shrink plastic. So perfect for my haunted village. :)
Party banner picks using the party dies and fun ticket die.
I used the balloons with peachy faces for the ghosts, and tiny tag from the Chunky Jar Accessories.
Thanks for joining us this week. I hope you're getting lots of fun last minute ideas for your Monster Bash....and we're not finished yet!
