* * * * *

I love layering, so these new dies are right up my alley. For my first project with these new dies I made a fridge magnet for my mom. It's a "all hearts go home for Christmas" thing without the actual words. I miss home so much, especially at Christmas time. In fact, today marks 14 years and a few days since I moved here, away from my real true home. Sigh. Anyhoo, I digress!

Have you ever seen The Jerk, with Steve Martin? {1979 movie} Well, if you have, then you know what I mean when I tell you how excited I am when the new phone books come out!!!

But for me, it's not that I'm listed in the book, and that I'm finally "somebody" {giggle}. For me it's the FREE MAGNET that is always stuck to the front!! Woohoo! Free crafty supplies!! And that's how this project started. Oh and btw, I have never called this place so I can't give any reviews. LOL

These dies cut so nicely. No worries whatsoever. I didn't even need to shim.

Cut your paper of choice.

Oops. I forgot to get a pic of the papers adhered to the magnet and the shaker box before I put them together. {Sorry.} I made a shaker box using QK nesting circle dies and the My Creative Time, Christmas House stamp.

If you use seed beads, or anything thicker than punched cardstock for example, you'll likely need to double the height of your window to accommodate movement. I used two stacks of foam tape.

For project two, I used the curly label die and the new stitched layer die. Super quick little gift for the bank teller, maillady, teacher, manicurist or neighbor. I used the tri fold 3x3 card die for the base.

And the You're Perk-fect stamp set for the sentiment and adoramous coffee beannies!!

So. Are you still awake after that post?! You only have a couple more blogs to hop to if you started at the beginning. If you started here first, my apologies. LOL Better refill your cup and head over to Emma's blog for the rest of the hop. ;)

The coffee holder is very cute. My BFF buys those from Starbucks. I think I should make a tag like this for her. She would so appreciate it. Great work. tfs Tami
