SNOWMAN SOUP AND REINDEER POOP!!
Do I have your attention? LOL!!!
That's what today's project is! Have you ever done these fun gifts? Kids especially love them. I usually do one or the other for all the kids but this year I think I'll do the soup for the girls and poop for the boys. Hahaha! First up is Snowman Soup. I used the cute little stock pot from My Creative Time, Home Sewn stamp set and covered it with clear embossing powder so it looks like a little token.
Isn't it cute. Poems are posted below in the product list so that you can print it out and make these yourself.
And now for the Reindeer Poop. This always makes me laugh and the kids love it. You can put in it most anything really, but for the the real "poop" affect, I like to use chocolate covered raisins, chocolate covered peanuts, and no bake chocolate oatmeal cookies with a few marshmallows. This year I added a few M&Ms just for color. The kids won't mind, I'm sure. For my tag, I used the stitched circle die by My Creative Time along with some leaves for the ears and branches for antlers. The adorable face is by Peachy Keen.
here is the treat bag out of the mug, and the tag, My Creative Time XL label die, with the poop poem printed on it. The Merry Christmas sentiment is from the All Around Christmas stamp collection by My Creative Time.
And one more for the more sophisticated recipient....I guess there are still older people we give to as well, right. LOL This mug is for the apple cider lover, but you could do this with a coffee or tea beverage as well. I added two cinnamon sticks for stirring. I love hot cider in the winter but can't find my fave cranberry one anymore. But anyway, back to the gift idea!
I used the My Creative Time Stitched Circle die and the All Around Christmas stamp set for the tag here and embellished with a couple of little jingle bells. Super simple but so pretty when given in a festive mug.
That's it for today's projects! Tomorrow is the last day, so don't forget to comment
on all blogs for all days if you haven't yet. There are prizes
for each and every day of the hop so you could be a winner!
Here's the hop line up. If you are starting at my blog, be sure to hop on over to Emma's blog to
start at the beginning so you can be entered for today's drawing.

T’was
Christmas Eve when I heard Santa call,
"Now dash away, dash away, dash
away all!"
Then I saw on the lawn in the snowy white drifts,
Those eight
nasty reindeer had left little gifts.
I got an old shovel and started to scoop
I got an old shovel and started to scoop
neat little piles
of that reindeer poop.
But to throw them away, well it seemed such a waste,
so
I saved them all, thinking you might like a taste.
As I finished my task, which took quite awhile,
As I finished my task, which took quite awhile,
old Santa
passed by and he sheepishly smiled.
Then I heard him exclaim as he flew to the
sky,
"Well, they're not potty trained, but at least they can fly!"
