Today's sneak is from the All Around Accessories set, along with the previously released XL Label die. I also used the mini wings from the Happy Mail set and the date stamp from the special edition stamps. My apologies for the poor photo - I tried scanning and it's just too lumpy to get a decent image, so I had to resort to taking a picture, which didn't fair much better.

Here's my title block using the XL Label Die with the All Around Accessories set. I LOVE the Jolly Roger flag -- can you see the skull and crossbones on Gracie's kite!?? It's almost like this stamp was made for my photo. :)

...and my cute little matching embellishment. I had these cute papers in my stash and just knew they had to be used with this set and my photo, and the ribbon that matches the polka dot paper too. I couldn't have planned it any better if I tried! LOL

Product List:
My Creative Time, All Around Accessories
My Creative Time, XL Label die
My Creative Time, Happy Mail stamp set
Bazzill Swiss Dot cardstock
Various pirate print pattern papers
Martha Stewart border punches
Quickutz cookie cutter flower die
Ribbon, button, bling, inks

Don't forget to check out the blogs of the other designers as well for your chance to win in this week's giveaways. :)

Scrapbuggy Tuesday!

Good morning! Hearts don't have to be for special occasions or holiday cards - this one is a "just because I love you" card for the hubs. :) I like it! The black demask pattern is flocked, from the DCWV, LaCreme Stack.

I used heart from the Rev0186 heart frame die....in case you hadn't noticed by now, it's my 'go to' heart shape. My all time fave.

Sentiments are from My Creative Time, You Had Me at Chocolate, and wings from MCT Happy Mail.

Quickutz Rev0186, Heart Frame die
Spellbinders floral doily accent edger

Today's sneak is from the Cherish the Moment set, along with the previously released XL Label die. I used the die to actually cut my photo and stamped my message directly onto the picture. Pretty cool, huh!

Scrapbuggy challenge #10

Here is the card sketch we used for this challenge. I used it for a previous card too - it's a great sketch!

This time for the flags I used various ribbons. The die I used for this card is from the Quickutz billboard signs set - I used only the arrow portion and stamped my sentiment on it.

And, of course, a little bling. Even some of the skulls are blinged! ;)

Thanks for coming by today. If you'd like to participate in the challenge, we'd be happy to have you! Enter your link on the Scrapbuggy blog and you could win the drawing for a gift certificate to the store!

Product list:
My Mind's Eye, Scary Sparkles paper stack
{Sorry I don't remember who makes the pink text background paper}
Black cardstock

Birthday mini book

During the last week of Gracie's summer vaca at grama's house, Olivia came to stay too. Her birthday is in the summer so it's not easy to find any of her classmates at home for a party, so Olivia rarely has birthday parties anymore. We had already made Nutter Butter Chocolate Overload cupcakes {see recipe tab on the home page for more info on these scrumptious treats!!!} so Grace suggested we do a surprise party for her here! So she and Olivia went to the park while I partied things up, including tieing pink balloons on the mailbox. :) It was just the three of us, but it turned out to be lots of fun and Olivia was surprised!!

I used Heidi Swapp's mini book idea to make a special birthday memory mini book for Olivia. I LOVE this idea and will be making more of them in the future! For this book, all the papers are by October Afternoon from the Cherry Hill collection, with tons of dies and stamps for embellishing. I really like the end result.

Intro page

One can never have too many balloons

The birthday girl

with her prezzies....the funnest one is from Grace. Olivia LOVED the fake nose, glasses and mustache!

For the last page, I stamped lines so Olivia can journal herself about her party and her favorite part about the day.

I am so pleased with how the book came out! The photos are not so good but I hope you get the idea anyway.  The dies and stamps I used are too numerous to list, but if you have questions about anything specific, leave a comment with your email and I'll address it for you.

I've linked above Heidi Swapp's video at My Craft Channel so you can make one of these adorable little books too. Thanks for coming by. Have fun creating!
