My Favorite Things, Sketch Challenge 228

The new sketch challenge is up on the Card Challenges blog for My Favorite Things {see sketch image below} For my card, I turned the sketch on its side, and used the adorable new Birdie Brown farm themed stamps and dies. So super cute!!!

I've got a lot of practice to do with my coloring, but it's fun and I love doing it, and that counts, right? There is plenty of time left to join this new challenge if you want to play along. Also, there is a link-up on the blog {I've also included a link to the blog for you above and below.}

All About the Kids challenge at Melonheadz Friends!

It's time for a new challenge at Melonheadz Friends. This time it's All About Kids! Won't you join me and my teamies for this fun challenge!

I used the Kidlettes3 set for my adorable little girl. She reminds me of my grandgirl, Mila, who happens to be having a birthday this month.

Oink, oink - that's pig for happy birthday! ;)

Had to share this card using the adorable Cutie Katoodles Girl Piggy svg cut by Kadoodle Bug Designs! If you are a blog follower (and if you aren't, why not?! ;) ) you know how I love polka dots and pink. So it seemed only fitting I would use pink polka dot paper for the sweet piggy.

Because it's a birthday card, I altered her just a tiny bit by trading her ear of corn for a present, and her hair bow is replaced by a party hat, from the Yummy Beary Bear set.

Melonheadz Design Team

Happy Monday and welcome to the latest Melonheadz Challenge. Please join me and the rest of the Design Team for "Add Sparkle!" Who doesn't love sparkle!??

First up is my people shaped card. I so relate to this girl, especially on a Monday, amirite!?? LOL This image is a freebie file from a few years ago. I just love her! She isn't exactly sparkly, but her coffee cup is!

While you can't see it in the images, I also used clear glitter Wink of Stella in her hair and on her bunny slipper ears. It's very cute, sorry I wasn't able to capture it here. I used my Cricut Explore to make the card, welding two images back to back, mirroring one of them. I cut the colored image separately and slightly smaller, then adhered it to the front of the card.

My inside message is made using three stamp sets; Verve stamps, Better With You (coffee ring stain) and My Creative Time, Family is Everything and All You Need is Coffee to create my one of a kind sentiment.

I didn't stop there though! I have another project for you today as well. A scrapbook page! Been so long since I did a layout and I really enjoyed putting this one together. I used the Little Miss Kindergarten Cinco de Mayo Part 1 bundle. Notice the touches of stickles on the banner, maracas, sombrero and salsa set. Love that stuff for adding just a bit of sparkle! Nikki's images are so adorable and embellishing them is only part of the fun. I can't wait to add pics to my scrapbook page.

I love the cute title, and added the little sombrero for extra fun.

The super cute banner and maracas are also part of this colorful digi set...

.....as are the bowls of chips and salsa. Cute cute cute!! All images are printed in color and stickles accents added.
