What a treat!

I know Halloween is passed, but I real quick wanted to share these little treat bags I made for our sweet neighbor kids. :) Really simple and fun to make using My Creative Time dies! The holder is made using the largest of the rectangle frame dies, the handle is the stitched oval, and the window is the just tags die.

The pumpkin is actually the stitched circle cut twice, and the leaves are from the Piles of Smiles stamp and die set.

Here's where the treat slider box comes in. Easy way to put the treats in and get them out.

Day 2, Holiday Card Workshop - Interactive Cards

Today we made interactive cards in the Holiday Card Workshop. Most of you know how much I love interactive / 3D / movable cards. My nephew says these cards are "like getting an extra little present." I think he's right! Here's my card for today's lesson. I made a shaker ornament tag.

There is a variety of filler in this one. I used tiny flower sequins, clear and white seed beads, and white, iridescent, and silver sequins.

I cut the deer three times and stacked them then used foam tape to pop him off the tag. The teeny little flower gems are by Heidi Swapp. I've had them in my stash for years. They fit him perfectly!
Product List:
My Creative Time, scalloped tag
My Creative Time, oh deer die and stamp set
My Creative Time, winter flakes die
My Creative Time, tag topper die
Basic Grey 6x6 paper pad, Figgy
button, twine, foam tape, bling and pearls, sequins, seed beads, transparency

Favorite Stamp/Die of the Month is back!

Yay! Back by popular demand, Emma has reinstated the Favorite of the Month feature. This month we are featuring the Main Street stamp set. If you have been waiting to get this set, you can do so now HERE at a sale price! Yep, this set will be on sale for the entire month of November! The sale will end on November 30, 2014 at 12:00 am PST!

My card is collage style, I guess you would call it. I combined lots of fun stamps and die cuts together in one corner of the card leaving lots of white space.

In addition to the Main Street stamps {the building and bicycle}, I used the Way to Go stamps for my sentiment, oh and the pretty flourish is also part of that set; and the circle-8 is from the Circle Font alpha stamp set.

Main Street, our featured Favorite Stamp of the Month.

Day 1, Holiday Card Workshop

First day of class! Today's project is Easy to Duplicate Cards. I followed this shabby chic idea from Shari Carroll. Her card holds a gift card but I didn't do that part for my version.

It is a little time consuming until you have all your elements ready, but not hard to do at all. I love the layered look and fell in love instantly with Shari's design.

Product List:
My Mind's Eye, Lost and Found Sunshine 6x6 paper pad
My Favorite Things, Whip Cream cardstock
Bazzill, Aqua cardstock
My Creative Time snowflake die, frame die, and 'cheer' stamp
Paper Smooches heart and Christmas word dies
buttons, twine, fishtail banner dies, ranger embossing paste, glossy accents
