I'm nuts for you, Valentine

I'm nuts anyway, but for this project, I used my first ever Jaded Blossom stamps and the nutty sentiment from the new Funny Valentine set. I love play on words so I just had to have these!

Isn't this nutty squirrel too much!? He's so silly and makes me laugh. He's one of my fave dies but I don't get a chance to use it all that often. He's perfect for this sentiment.

Hey there, hot stuff!

Super quick little idea today for an easy Valentine. Got this freakin' hot slim jim for the hubster who loves hot stuff {thus, me....HAHAHA! sooo kidding!}

and decided to make it a little more special with a cute tag.

As you probably know by now, I love repurposing {formerly referred to as upcycling, originally known as  recycling.} I've never been offended by the term "recycling" so why it had to be changed and then changed again makes no sense to me LOL, but whatever you call it, I've used typical everyday trash to make this super cute pillow box valentine treat holder!! :) And for extra cuteness, added Peachy faces!

Ok for those asking how to make the transformation from tp roll to pillow box, a quick and super simple video! I do this folding on it first, then wrap with paper, and fold again. HTH!!! Have fun making these.

Bzzzz.....it's a mini desk calendar

Check out my first project with Jaded Blossom stamps! This bee and sentiment are from their newest release, Love Stings. 

I made this for the challenge over at Jaded Blossom. Love this bee, and the sentiment was a no-brainer to use on this calendar for my hubs' desk. He shall be reminded every day for a whole year. Hahaha!!! I used stickles on the antennae and stripes {which I made gold, but they aren't showing very well in the photo, sorry}, and glitter pen on the wings {which also didn't show up. Poo.}  

 I made the simple stand from a cracker box, my favorite source of faux chipboard!

Here is a teensy little mini-vid so you can see how sweet Little Buzzy looks on his wobble. {ohhh...that sounded almost naughty! LOL}

Collage-ish style Valentine

I'm not usually very good at pulling off the collage look, but this one I like. I started with vanilla Bazzill cardstock, believe it or not! I think it came out pretty nice. Valentine measures 5 1/2 x 6 inches overall. Can you guess how many products I used on here?! There's a lot going on!

Flowers of course, and the large chocolate drop die by My Creative Time.

I love tickets. Added this metal key charm because it's cool.

Spray of flowers using the Memory Box leafy flourish die and Martha Stewart hydrangea punch.

I love how the shrinky charm turned out. I used a QK heart doily die and stamped with staz-on ink using My Creative Time heart stamp from the 100% Sweetness set. Yes. I cut the shape from shrink plastic, stamped with staz-on, and shrunk like normal. Super, super cute. The size of the die is approx 2x1 3/4, stamp is 1x1 3/4. When shrunken, the charm measures 1"x1/2".

Hope you like! I had a ball making it. Not even sure what to do with it yet, to be honest! LOL Maybe it will go in my Etsy store....? Happy weekend!
