** Birthday Giveaway Winners **

Happy Friday-Eve, everyone. Or as normal people call it, Thursday. ;) We have TWO winners to announce in the birthday giveaway drawings! Woot! I'm so happy you came by to play with me on my birthday. :) I was so bummed the playlist no longer works on blogs. The party would have been better with music, but it was fun nonetheless. {Still searching for a replacement music list for the blog.} It would also have been more fun with balloons and cake, but I didn't have that either....though I do have this guy that someone sent me a long time ago. Enjoy!

All righty then, let's get to the winners! The first prize is the Quickutz Cotton Candy alphabet die set. The blog winner chosen by random.org is {drumroll, please} Momof4inArlington! {Applause and adulations!} Please email me with your mailing info so I can send your prize out to you. :)

We also held a drawing on the facebook fan page! The prize for this drawing is a Heidi Grace chipboard bundle from the Little Bird's Tale collection. This prize goes to {drumroll...} Heather Dorman Billhorn. I'll need your mailing info as well so please email me and I'll get your goodies to you.

Thanks to everyone who played and congrats to the winners!!!

3D Wednesday with My Creative Time

Hello and happy hump day! It's time for 3D Wednesday and this week's theme is MEN! Woot! er, I mean.... well, with Father's Day coming up an all. ;) So for today's project I've altered a dollar store picture frame. It looked kinda like this one before I started. {I say 'kinda' because I forgot to get a pic of the actual frame I altered before I started sticking stuff on it. Oops.}

I covered it with paper from the Graphic45, Proper Gentlemen paper pad. At first I thought I would use Mod Podge on it, but then decided instead on Glossy Accents for my adhesive. That stuff is awesome for this!!! It didn't pucker or warp the paper one iota and adhered quickly and smoothly. I'll use it again when I do another frame.

Here is the finished frame with a pic of my super dad hubs with the kid in 1980. He was a single dad when we met, and we had just started dating when this pic was taken. Tell me, is it just me, or does he look a little Matthew McConaughey-ish here, circa Dazed and Confused?! LOL He is always this tan in the summer months and this was taken in August. He's not smiling here so you can't see he also has dimples. :)

Embellies - sentiment by My Creative Time from the Here's Lookin' At You set. Burlap by Liz's Paper Loft Boutique.

I've never seen my husband without a mustache...other than his high school pics and "official" Army photo. The mustache and tie dies are also My Creative time.

Ahoy....

Good morning and welcome to another Scrapbuggy Tuesday! Today I'm sharing another way to use the adorable button bear pirate accessories die with some of the older QK dies you may already have in your stash. You may also notice I used my Zutter Distrezz-it-All to 'pirate' up the edges of my card and make it look worn. Cool, huh.

On the bandanna I used the skull from the jolly roger flag, QK die KS0791

and on the flag I used the QK KS0793, "Ahoy".

For my message, I used Rev 0080, pirate scroll and placed it sideways. This message is not a stamp or die cut letters. I ran this one through my printer.

Product List:
Buggy Designs, Button Bear
Buggy Designs, Pirate Accessories for Button Bear
Quickutz, Rev0080
Quickutz, KS0791 and 0793
Various pattern paper scraps, ink

Thanks for coming by today!
