Welcome to Day 1 of Sneak Peek Party Week!! Of course, they aren't really sneaks since you've likely seen Emma's fab projects already, but it wouldn't be release week without calling it sneaks, so I'm sticking with tradition! LOL Today I'm using the new stamp and die set, What's Growing On, along with the new large Tag Dies. You are going to LOVE these dies, people. L.O.V.E. Isn't the mustache so cute on the heart!?? I don't know what made me think of that other than my heart hurts waiting for summer when my scrappy buddy, grandgirl Grace, gets to come and stay with us! :) And all the hemp twine at the top looks kind of hairy, don't you think. LOL It goes with the punny sentiment!

Here you can see how I popped the mustache with foam tape. I love the dimension it gives my projects.

Product List:
My Creative Time, What's Growing On stamp and die set
My Creative Time, Tag dies
My Creative Time, heart die {special limited edition}
Lifestyle Crafts nesting lacy circle die
My Minds Eye, Kraft Fun Day, Happy Days 6x6 paper pad
Ink, twine, sanding, foam tape

Now let's get down to the business of today's challenge! For my project, I chose to use this sweet cupcake from the Doodlecharms cartridge.

For the embellishments, I used My Creative Time petal flowers and scalloped circle.....
.....and My Creative Time Build a Banner Kit, and Many Greetings stamp set.

Matching gift box -

Instead of ribbon, I used tulle to match the card. But it's not only a cute card, is also like an extra embellishment on the box. The box is the mini pizza box die by Lifestyle Crafts.

Inside the box are these super cute magnets shown here on the pink mini fridge that adorns my craft room. ;) I hope you like them, Emma! Happy Birthday!

NEW Buggy Designs Pirate Accessories--Ahoy, Matey!

As if the Ballerina accessories aren't cute enough, here is the Pirate set also by Emma Lai for Buggy Designs. He's so stinkin' cute!! I'm bummed I can't find my pictures of Jeffery dressed as a pirate, but when I do, this will go on a scrapbook layout with those pictures.

The 2x2 QK pirate dies are perfect with this set. I will add the year or his age to the cannon blast {QK0784 and 0785}. The sentiment is by My Creative Time {linked below in the product list}.

He's just so cute I can hardly stand it. LOL The sword {QK0778} fits him perfectly.

Quickutz cannon 0784, blast 0785 and sword 0778

Day 2 - NSD 2012

I don't know about you, but it seems whenever I need a piece of paper, there isn't a single thing in my purse to write a note on. So I lifted this sweet little idea from this overseas blogger, http://mariedoudou.canalblog.com/archives/p50-10.html. They are so cute!!! The pretty yellow one will go into my purse immediately. It's my fave of the three.

This one has a slide closure....

...as does this one.

The pink one has a velcro tab closure.

Product List:
October Afternoon 5 & Dime 8x8 paper pad
Cardstock, paper clips, brads, buttons, punch, dies

These are such a quick and easy and FUN project and would make great little thank you gifts for just about anyone! Visit the blog link {posted above} and see how simple these are to slap together. Happy NSD! You still have time to be crafty before the weekend is over. :)

Happy National Scrapbooking Day

I love my first project of the day! I scraplifted this adorable pinwheel wreath and love how it turned out. Super cute and so easy to do. I only wish I'd had a larger wreath form to begin with, but still it's sweet on my front door.
