My Creative Time Design Team Day
This week we used the Happy Homecoming set for our projects in honor of all the fallen and all the heroes of 9/11. May God bless every one!
You may not have any family members currently serving in the military, but I'm sure there is someone in your neighborhood or church who has a friend or family member serving our country right now. My card in their honor.
I used a background stamp and paper crimper to give visual interest and texture to the background...
....and also made a matching door hanger using the curly label die and two stamps from the set.
Product list:
My Creative Time, Happy Homecoming
My Creative Time, curly label die
My Creative Time, Encouraging Quotes {heart and star minis}
Peachy Keen face stamp
K&Co. Americana specialty paper pad
Fiskar's paper crimper
Bazzill textured cardstock
Cricut Cartridge, Slumber Party {shooting star}
Cricut Cartridge, Tags, Bags, Boxes & More {door hanger}
Quickutz Rev0086, heart frame die
Ribbon, ink, copic multi liner, glossy accents
As the anniversary of 9/11 fast approaches, please continue to keep all of our heroes in your thoughts and prayers.

You belong with me
Happy Tuesday. It's my Scrapbuggy day and today I'm sharing a card using the adorable {I'm a little biased since I designed this one!} April Showers Buggy Designs die. For my card front I borrowed an idea from Emma {My Creative Time} and cut just the front half of the card using Lifestyle Crafts nesting frames {she used her Gypsy} and leaving the folded part in tact so the back is still attached. I also used the LC nesting lacy rectangles.
Umbrella and matching cutie patootie rubber booties! :)
Inside message
Product List:
Scrapbuggy Buggy Designs, April Showers
Lifestyle Crafts nesting frames 3
Lifestyle Crafts nesting rectangles
October Afternoon, 5&Dime collection
Peachy Keen stamps {faces}
My Creative Time, Happy Mail
My Creative Time envelope die and stamp
Sizzix Tim Holtz tattered florals die
Ribbon, brad, prima flower, ink
I hope you like the look of the newly remodeled blog. It's almost finished!
Thanks for stopping in today!

Scrapbuggy challenge #7
Hope you're having a great Labor Day weekend. Happy Labor Day everyone!
This week's challenge over at Scrapbuggy is to use the sketch below. The twist is to use any Buggy Designs die on your entry. The prize is a $10 gift certificate to the store so get your entry posted on the scrapbuggy blog by September 17.
I used the butterfly and heart from the Buggy Designs Cupcake for my challenge page. Sorry for the wonky coloring/lighting on my photos. Not sure what the heck happened. Might be time for a new camera??
In addition, I used the LC Nesting frames3 and nesting circles. "B" is QK Chicago 2x2 alphabet.
Large heart is QK Rev0086, heart frame die, and pennant tabs are QK Rev0155, slightly modified.
Product list:
Scrapbuggy Buggy Designs Cupcake die
Lifestyle Crafts nesting frames3 dies
Lifestyle Crafts nesting circles dies
Quickutz Rev0155, pennant die
Quickutz Rev0086 heart frame die
Quickutz Chicago alphabet
American Crafts cardstock
October Afternoon pattern papers
Bazzill textured and Swiss Dot cardstock
Ribbon, lace, staples, buttons
Stamped stitches, My Creative Time Gift Card Sentiments

Makeover nearly finished!
Blog makeover is nearly complete. There will be subtle changes yet to come and the studio page isn't finished, but for the most part the blog is now the way you will see it. :) I hope you like it. It's a HUGE change, but it's growing on me. ;)
Please note also that I did NOT have 80,000 visitors overnight. LOL The number was deceiving as I hadn't figured out how to change it to reflect all previous visitors from before I added the counter. Glad I finally got it--it was buggin' me!
