Sneak peek from Scrapbuggy Buggy Designs, this chair is a simple one piece design and so easy to work with. For the foot stool, I used the cottage cutz jam jars die - seriously!

Good morning bloggy friends! :) Today is my ____th birthday {30-something would be good} and I'm giving away two {very gently used} dies, in honor of my mommy's hard work all those years ago. ;)

Each of these dies has been used only once{for a DT project}.

  

One will go to the first person to correctly guess what I weighed at birth, and one will go to the first person to correctly guess what time I was born. You can guess multiple times, but please post your guesses in separate comments.

My Creative Time Design Team Day

Welcome to Thursday in the studio. My first project today is a card for My Creative Time, using the fabulous stamp set, This and That. This is a must have set with greetings from 'hello' to 'sorry' to 'thank you' and more.

For my embellishment, I made a flower from tissue paper; a sewing pattern I picked up at the thrift store. I took a folded piece of the pattern and cut through all the layers with the Tattered Florals die by Tim Holtz/Sizzix. Punch a hole through the center of all the layers with a paper piercer and hold them together with a mini brad. Then I scrunched each layer up toward the center and fluffed. Remember how we used to do that with toilet paper carnations in grade school?? Same idea! Then I sprayed the flower with glimmer mist and added some leaves. Viola! Gorgeous handmade accent piece. :)

What's cookin' ?

From the In The Kitchen release by Scrapping Cottage, here is the cute Chef Chicken. Just saying that makes me laugh. A chicken that bakes chocolate chip muffins... LOL! Anyway, it's cute, don't you think. :) I used it with one of the mixing bowls just cuz those are cute too and I love them. LOL There are so many fun dies in this release. And there are clear stamps this time as well as dies, and some dies that even come with stamps! Be sure to check them out.

And this spice rack and measuring spoons are adorable, aren't they! The spoons come with stamps for tablespoon and teaspoon measurements, but also this super cute dash, pinch and smidgeon stamps. So cute! Spice rack comes with stamps for these spices and more. Have I mentioned how much I love this release? Well, I do. :)
