Mushrooms and cupcakes!

Having more fun with Cottage Cutz! I think mushrooms are perfect for this outdoor page. For the title I used Quickutz Oatmeal and Diesel, Classic and Grand.

For added dimension I popped these with foam tape -- I'm obsessed with foam tape if you didn't already know! I also used the Cottage Cutz loopy edger, Quickutz circle, and I cut the little wheat thingies by hand.

Leftover papers, nesting ovals, and more mushrooms for this quick missing you card. Sentiment is a rubon by DCWV.
and more foam tape. Must have foam tape! :)

Who doesn't love October Afternoon. These are so so cute! This collection is Farm Fresh. For this baking page I've used one of the Cottage Cutz cupcakes, the scallop/dot edger, and the loopy edger. Title is matching adhesive letters, quote and border stickers are also part of the Farm Fresh collection. Subtitle and date are Foofala letter stickers.

Bling added to the scallop edger.

I matched the flower on the cupcake to the background paper.

Exclusive bear from Scrapbuggy

For today's first project I've used the exclusive bear die from Scrapbuggy, trees from the camping set, rain puddle, sunshine, notebook page, and scalloped edgers. Title font is Nutmeg.

This is Grace on one of many weekend hiking trips last year. This trip was to the Hoh River Rainforest on the Olympic Peninsula. We spent a good many weekends camping and fishing in the Olympic Rainforest when the kids where growing up, so this makes me a little homesick. I'm so glad Grace is experiencing these things as well.

Oak leaves and pine cones from the exclusive bear die.

Bear cub and fish are Scrapbuggy exclusives.

Here I've used the largest scallop edger, 4x4 acorns, twig and berries and the Disco font for the title. The small scallop and dot border is a Martha Stewart border punch.

My first projects for Scrapping Cottage

I couldn't resist using the Cottage Cutz snowskiing penguin on this page, giving him a fishing pole instead of snowskis. I also used the scallop/dot edger, QK puddle for the pond, and snowday font for the title. Papers are My Mind's Eye, Quite Contrary; metal fishing sign and screw brad are Karen Foster Designs.

Here the little penguin holds the fishing pole and net from the Cottage Cutz fishing set and, without his ski cap, you can see the cute little tuft of hair on top of his head (which is actually one of the lily pads from the boat and dock die).

I love this fishing pole. I've used cork paper for the rod handle, silver paper for the reel, and invisible thread/monofiliment for the line.
For the net, I used mesh I've had in my stash for ages. It's perfect for this use! I love how it turned out. Cute, huh?

Then, to balance out the large embellishment on the bottom of the page, I've added a clump of cattails from the Cottage Cutz boat and dock die, and the QK puddle for the pond, in the opposite corner. These are the cutest!

After finishing the layout, I used leftover scraps to make this quick card. Simple bracket shape, using the Spellbinders nesting brackets, embellished with flowers, bling, ribbon and Cottage Cutz scallop/dot edger.

Add a rubon sentiment and you're good to go!

For this second layout, I used the cute little Cottage Cutz love birds and tall tree. Ruth Ellen shared her idea for making the 7" edgers a full 12" so I used her tip here for the scallop/dot edger. Love that idea. (Check out the Scrapping Cottage blog for her idea. I've linked her post in my narrative on the site.)

Added a little stickles to the birdies to make them sparkly, like their adorable personalities.

And for fun, used my eyelet hole punches to make Swissy-looking letters for my cheesy title. Font is QK Diesel Classic, plus shadows and Oatmeal.

and another card using scraps from the layout. The love birds are perfect for an anniversary card. Add a heart or two, some ribbon and bling, and celebrate!

I have to admit, I wasn't sure how much I'd use the skunk die, but I'm loving the stink theme that you can't escape! There are so many ways to use it. Who knew a skunk would be so versatile!

Here my skunk is doing his Pepe Le Pue impersonation - his thought bubble is French for "Love Stinks". Also used the QK Rev tree shape and for the stink plumes, check it out....they are the poodle poofs from the Flirt gift set!!

Bling helps make this guy a little less stinky, don't you think?! LOL
