Let's compare mediums

You've noticed I have made quite a few metal ring charms of late. There are a few ways to do this and I thought I'd share the differences/similarities between them.

Here are all three mediums, side by side.
Left to right: sticker, resin, glossy accents

Clear domed epoxy stickers
These are super easy to use and have no dry time whatsoever as they are simply a sticker. If you don't want to take the time, or have the time. to wait for product to dry, this is a great alternative. You'll have to skip the metal ring on these, but they still look cool and work just as well. I ordered these from Amazon. They are inexpensive and come in a pack of 200 so they'll last you a good while.
UV Resin
The resin is a great way to make lots of charms at once as there is no drying time with the UV light. The kit is not expensive, but if you don't plan on making tons of these, you certainly don't NEED to have the resin kit. I got mine at Amazon; it comes with all you need, including the UV light and usb cord. To be honest, I would be perfectly happy using glossy accents or stickers.

Glossy Accents, by Ranger- does not yellow or get cloudy at all over time.
I first tried glossy accents. Super easy to use and inexpensive, but there is somewhat of a dry time so you must be patient. Generally, I let mine sit for a few hours; overnight if I'm not in a hurry to use them on a project. Mostly I make them to use later, so no big deal.

Hope this gives you a better idea of what will work for you. Happy crafting!
