More fun with junk. This one is another piece made from the wheat thins cracker box. I used another box as a template (see photo below) which I love doing with acetate packaging like this one that held washi tapes. At some point I'm sure I'll use the acetate box too, but for now it makes a great template.

#the12daysofjunkmas, cont'd
These yummy cluster pieces started as a mailing envelope. I literally squealed when I opened it because of the corrugated padding on the inside. Truth be told, I was more excited about the envelope than its contents! My husband doesn't get it, but I know my crafty friends will! 😆

#the12daysofjunkmas, cont'd
Oh, I had fun with this one. I used a wheat thins cracker box to create the tag box, and Simple Stories Vintage Fresh Snow for the design elements. It turned out even better than I anticipated and I love it! Hope you're inspired.

#the12daysofjunkmas, with Crafty by Toni
Good morning! And welcome to the studio on the go. Yesterday, as I was beginning this project for Toni's 12 Days of Junkmas challenge, I realized how badly I packed my craft tote for this trip. Seriously, there is so much I wish I would have included in my traveling craft bag. Ugh. It's so hard to know what you will really want to have with you and what you won't use in a three month time period. Alas.
BUT, I knew I would be doing some Christmas crafting so at least I included some appropriate supplies for that. These tags -which I completely love!!!- all started as price tags from clothing purchases that would typically be tossed in the trash. And that's where junkmas comes in, of course. Didn't they turn out so cute?? All the adorable cut out vintage images are digital files I purchased from Etsy sellers. I've used bits of cheesecloth, ribbon, fabric, and twine as well.

A few Christmas cards
Had to get the juices flowing somehow, so I grabbed my Simple Stories Vintage Winter Woods paper pad and ephemera pieces and whipped out my Christmas cards. Sometimes you need a deadline to get your engine started, you know? LOL Here are a few of my favorites.

Happy December from sunny San Diego
We made it. If you have followed me on the blog or other socials, you know that we became Snowbirds a couple of years before Covid hit. Then, with Randy's surgery, we missed another couple of years wintering in the warmer weather. Well, we are here again, and so happy to be where the sun shines every day! It has been tough finding suitable places to stay within our time frame, but I have been lucky so far and this year's accommodations have turned out to be perfect. Airbnb has been so good for us, and we've had good luck with everyone we have dealt with.
That said, my crafty juices are stalled. I don't know where to begin; it has been so long since I really delved into the supply stash and it's making me crazy. I have a space here for crafting, which is always a must when doing our winter Airbnb search, so that's not an issue. One month ago today my sister and I were on our way to Paris, Germany and Switzerland -- FAB TRIP!!! -- and when I got home, I barely had time to breathe before packing up again and hitting the road. But here we are and I need to get the creativity flowing again.
While I ponder, here is a favorite photo I took while on vacay. This was from our table at the Sky Bar in the Hilton Hyatt Regency Hotel in Paris on the 34th floor. I'll never forget this breathtaking view.
