For today's challenge we have the letter Y. My project is Yesteryear.
This vintage pic is my maternal grandparents, Joe and Dorothy Howe. It was taken at Point Defiance Park in Tacoma, WA in the late 40s.
This piece of yesteryear is a piece of the 1940 census for Tacoma, Pierce County, WA. The area marked is my grandparents, mom, aunt, and uncle. Mom was 4 years old, she is the youngest of the three.
The other half of the census page. It states my grandpa's occupation as "shapeman" at a chair factory.
Homage to my native home state, where I still reside.
