Mini tri-fold junk journal

I created this little folio following along with Crafty by Toni using the Calligraphy Digital Kit by Margareth of SevenPlaza. Can you believe this started with some 8x10 papers I printed out?? About 99% of it anyway. Also, if you'd like to make this little folio, check out Toni's youtube channel linked above.

This little guy is perfect for tucking into a larger junk journal, or use it on it's own if you just want a small one. It would be perfect for a travel journal, for example. It measures 7 3/4 x 3 3/4 inches when folded. You could use a magnetic closure, but whether it stays closed will depend how much fun you tuck into the pockets, tucks and flaps. I wasn't having any luck with the magnets connecting with all the things I tucked into it, so I went with a ribbon closure.

I applied double sided tape along the back so the ribbon will always be intact and won't get lost. This way, if you decide to add it to a larger album/journal, you could simply glue the back but can still tie it closed.

Center band is open for more journaling pieces, tags, or whatever. Left also has a narrow tuck pocket.
The envelopes in the narrow tuck are also printed from the kit. I added cardstock to the back as I had printed most of the kit onto plain computer paper and it was pretty thin.
There you go. Super fun, super cute, super simple with the kit. Most elements are included, but of course, you can add  your own embellishments and pieces, which I did. If you love vintage ephemera and junk journaling, this is ideal!! I hope you will make one too. :)
