Melonheadz, Harvest Blessings Challenge

Welcome to new challenge week with Melonheadz Friends. This week's challenge is Harvest Blessings. I chose a few different sets to complete my Thanksgiving/harvest design. The pumpkins are from the Happy Fall set, apples from Season Fall, and the ears of corn from Very Veggie.

The sentiment and leaves are from Fall Friends stamp set by My Creative Time (not to be confused with My Favorite Things, which also has a stamp set of this same name).

My Favorite Things, Color Challenge

My card today was also for the Sketch Challenge but that one ended yesterday...oops! Anyway, it goes with the color challenge as well, so all is good. I hope you like it!

The sparkle on the trees doesn't show up at all in the first photo, unfortunately. But here you can see it. I love how it looks like sparkling snow on the trees. :)

We should be having much cooler temperatures and preparing for snow where I live by this time of year, but it has been so warm and sunny, I don't know if Mother Nature is going to catch up. No matter, though, I'm enjoying this unseasonably warm stuff immensely! 

This little penguin, though, is having the time of his life snowboarding in the cold. Isn't he cute? My Favorite Things has done it again with these cute little frozen friends.

Melonheadz, Add a sentiment

Happy Monday! It's time once again for the Melonheadz Challenge. This week we are adding a sentiment. Super simple. :) Here is my card using the Season Fall set.

I knew I wanted to make a wreath of the pretty maple leaves from the Happy Fall set, but as I was designing my card, I decided I wanted to have it "hanging". This awesome sign is part of the Gone Fishing set - works great for my wreath, don't you think.
