My second card is stamping on dark cardstock and embossing with a die. I love this look and embossing without cutting is a technique I really like and don't use enough. After I embossed the sentiment box onto my card, I stamped all around in an ink color a little darker than the cardstock. I then went back and added just a few shadows using the same color in a different shade.
My sentiment and double hearts are by Verve Stamps; the foliage is by WPlus9.
Now you've done two brave things!! I cannot do that die emboss thing to save my life!! Shar, you nailed it. I must have the wrong embossing mat or something for my very old Cuttlebbug...it needs to be retired but the darn thing won't retire. hahaha Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment on my blog.
