OCC, Day 11 - Play Day! {card 1 of 3}

Fun day in watercolor class....play day! I did three cards for today using various techniques we've learned throughout the classes. {They will be posted in separate blog posts, so please scroll to see them all.} The first one is water coloring an embossed image, on vellum. I do wish this were a little less opaque vellum as it didn't photograph well enough to see the yellow behind it, but I still love the outcome!

    Beautiful butterfly and card. I made one with flowers, but your comment about having less opaque vellum made me think, that maybe that is what is wrong with mine. It didn't seem nearly as vibrant as Kathy's and yours. I 'm not posting mine cause I also got all kind of smudge marks on it. I may try it again.
