Peachy Keen Challenge 13-44, Leaves

Guess what day it is....no silly, it's not hump day, it's my favorite FRIDAY! Yippee!! :) I hope your weekend is full of fun and relaxation. And crafting if you're so inclined! Today I'm sharing this card I made for the current Peachy Keen Challenge, 13-44: Just cards - Leaves. I love leaves. But you probably already know that if you follow this blog. :) Here's my finished card using the PK1340, Clearly Autumn Quart Jar Contents set.

This lovely sentiment is included in that set as well. I used a Quickutz label die for the sentiment, and cut out the leaf stamp adding a button and twine to make my embellishment.

Using the fall leaf in this set, I stamped and clear embossed a background of leaves, then made a rainbow affect with my Tim Holtz distress inks. I like it! Hope you do too. :)

  1. The leaves are so pretty with the clear embossing and distress inks. Great design with the layers...nice technique. You really made a simple leaf stamp look wonderful and the sentiment is perfect. Great job!
