Scrapping The Little Things

Well, most of you know scrapbooking layouts is my first love and I have so many grands who give me plenty to scrap about. In fact, Grace was my inspiration to start this oh so fabby hobby back in 2002 and there is no turning back now!!! I'm officially, obnoxiously hooked!!! LOL

Today's page features my littlest grandgirl, Miss Emmy. She has such personality and is so much like her mommy it's almost scary. Hahaha! Here she is sporting one of her many fashion-forward ensembles while she plays dress-up. (I forgot to add the date before taking pics; this was 2012 when she was still 4 yo.)

So I went kinda cray-cray with embellishments on this page, but it is all in keeping with Emmy's fashion sense. Another adorable banner {seriously, I'm addicted!} paper flower and twine, pearls, sparkly bling....

...buttons, flags, and Heidi Swapp chipboard hearts. These hearts were pink but I sanded off most of the color and saturated with navy ink, dried with the heat gun, the added a layer of clear embossing powder. Add a little banner flag, button and twine, and voila! Two more smaller hearts {above} with the same treatment, but embellished instead with pearl beads this time.

Sentiments, arrows, and title letters are all by My Creative Time. Pattern papers are Simple Stories, Summer Fresh; background green dot paper by American Crafts.

  1. Judging by Miss Emmy's ensemble, I'd say her personality has exploded out of the picture, and onto the page around her! Perfection!
