Monochromatic birthday card

This card is for my mother-in-law's birthday coming up in March. March is a HUGE birthday month in my fam with some multiples on some days even! But back to biz.....I made it for the Peachy monochrome challenge this month. I love the vintage look of sepia tones with black. I think it looks so rich and elegant. I found the BoBunny Et Cetera papers to be perfect for the look I wanted to achieve.

As always, I made my own rolled flowers; two versions this time. Added the vintage looking ribbon and champagne colored string pearl beads, and vintage lace for an even more old-timey feeling.

To create the sentiment I used two different Peachy sets. "Birthday" is from the Recess Jump Rope Girl, and "Greetings" from Fruit Sentiments Two. My label is by Spellbinders, butterflies by Martha Stewart.

Be sure to pop on over to the Peachy Keen Blog where you'll find me each Tuesday this month as guest designer!! I'm beyond thrilled to be working with Kathy's talented team and hope you'll visit me over there. :) Hope you're enjoying a lovely weekend. My thoughts are prayers are with the East Coast that Nemo leaves quickly and does no harm.
