MCT 12 Days of Christmas, Day 9

HUGE GIVEAWAY ALERT

Okay, since it's Christmas, Emma decided to give away TWELVE of her FAVORITE things to ONE LUCKY person! She will announce one of the prizes for each day in her video! So by the 12th day, you will see ALL 12 items that ONE lucky person will be receiving!  All you have to do is leave your comments each day! AND if you become a new follower of this blog, I'll give you a second entry FOR EACH DAY in the big drawing!!!

**VERY IMPORTANT**
Please leave your contact information should you be the lucky winner!!

Today I'm sharing another ornament, I hope you're not tiring of them! They are so much fun to make and I know my mom will love them. This one, believe it or not, is very simple VERY simple. Styrofoam ball, paper flowers of your choice {I made these using My Creative Time rolled flower die}, hot glue. Anything else you want to add is optional. Make your flowers {how many will depend on the size of your ball}, hot glue to the styrofoam. That's it! I used a paper clip for the hanger - just stuck in into the ball, pulled it out and filled the hole with glossy accents then replaced it till it dried.

Here it is posing for photos on my tree. LOL So pretty. I may just have to make some for myself....in MY colors of course. :) You can add corsage pins, if you like, to fill any gaps between the flowers, tie a ribbon at the top if you want to and again, optional, using another paper clip, add a piece of tulle, ribbon, string beads or whatever to the bottom for decoration. I sprayed a very light coat of Midnight Glimmer Mist over it before adding stickles to the edges of the flower petals.

A little closer view and for some reason the colors are more true in this view. Papers are BoBunny, Snowfall.

This is, well, a crooked photo of the back.

That's all there is to it. Didn't take long at all to do this one as I used about a 2", I think it is, styrofoam ball. Just a little guy. Remember the flowers will add another inch or so to the overall size so you may not want to go too big to start with. And of course a larger ball will require more flowers too. Anyway, I hope you've enjoyed this one and will try making some yourself. They would also make pretty tie-ons for your packages; like giving two gifts instead of one!

Be sure to check the store blog for links to the other designer blogs so you don't miss any deliciousness. Also, the more comments you leave, the more chances you have to win Emma's 12 Favorite Things prize package at the end of the 12 days, and remember to leave your contact info in your comments.

Product List:
My Creative Time, Rolled Flower die
BoBunny, Snowfall 6x6 paper pad
Styrofoam ball, hot glue, paperclips
Optional: corsage pins, tulle, ribbon, glimmer mist, stickles
