Welcome to Day 3 of the 12 Days of Christmas with My Creative Time. I'm sharing today a simple altered project that takes little time and only a couple bucks. I picked up a box of one dozen glitter ornaments for about $3 and decided they needed a little more oomph. {reminder: click on an image to see larger view}
And what could be oomphier {I know...that's not in my dictionary either, I just made it up ;)} than FLOWERS! Lovely flowers made from My Creative Time Flower Petals dies and Scallop and stitched circle dies.
Done in blue, her favorite color, this will be going in my mom's goody package along with the other ornament I altered with this same color scheme.
My Creative Time, Stitched Scallop and Circle dies
Martha Stewart branch punch
Punch Bunch fern punch
Stickles, tulle, sheer ribbon, string beads, flat backed pearls
Wow, this is gorgeous!! Love that you added flowers to it!!!! HUgsxx

OOOOOh.....AAAAAAH it's beeee-uuuu-teeee-fuuuuul!!
ReplyDeleteyou did one fantabulous job....luvin' it!
I laugh at your word "not in the dictionary" when my one grandson was a little guy and in 1st grade I used to make up words too (I have my own vocabulary)and he stated pickin' it up but I told him not to use it at school 'cause it wasn't in the dictionary and the teacher wouldn't approve so you made me laugh and took me back in time with this.
What a great way to customized store bought (plain) ornaments. I bet your Mom will love it.
