Welcome to the Studio on this Scrappy Monday with My Creative Time. Scrapbooking is my first love so I always enjoy the days I get to make layouts for the Design Team! Today's page theme is Halloween....if you weren't able to figure it out already. LOL
You may have noticed my layouts recently have been photographed as opposed to my usual scans. Well, there's a reason for that. My pages have been so lumpy with delicious flowers that the scanner refuses to cooperate to give me a good image. So this is what I'm stuck with. LOL No matter. I'll take lots of close ups of the details and try to make up for it. Hope that will help answer any questions too, but if you are still wondering about something, please feel free to post a question in your comment. I read them all and will be happy to answer if I can. :)
My daughter, Cyndi, and her hubs before last year's Halloween bash. Pretty sure Cyndi made their costumes, or at least most of it. The ornate frame is a Spellbinders die. I heat embossed with black on black paper, then once it cooled I heated it again until it sort of dissipated in areas giving it a sort of peeled look in places. Turned out pretty cool. I like the result anyway.
Title using Spellbinders fancy label and PTI banner dies. Raven is a Quickutz die. Wish his blood red stickles eyeball showed up better. It sparkles. Spooky!
More sparkle on these embellishments. More dies from Spellbinders. Sentiments from Mixed Holiday Greetings by My Creative Time, flourish stamps are...oh my gosh I've drawn a complete blank. I don't have them marked either which is not like me at all. I *think* they are Making Memories but I'm not positive. Sorry! Also note that I used stickles to give them delicious sparkle. Wish it showed better in the photos.
This bat is from the Inkadinkadoo Creepy Wine Labels stamp set. I heat embossed black on black then cut it out.
Spooky Treats background stamp is by My Creative Time from the Just For You set. I used a large ticket die by The Cat's Pajamas for my tag; border stamp is from the coordinating stamp set.
I used Spellbinders rose creations dies and Martha Stewart hydrangea punches to make my flowers. Branches are Quickutz spooky tree and branches dies.
I hope that wasn't too long winded! And I hope I answered all of your questions, but if I missed something, don't hesitate to ask. :) Thanks for coming by today. Be sure to check the other designer blogs too for more scrappy goodness. It's bound to brighten your Monday!
