Fourth of July blocks

Happy July, bloggers!!! If you haven't become addicted to pinterest yet, let me say this. Join. Now. You don't have to be a crafter or facebooker, just join. The ideas people share are amazing and so inspiring. I can't even tell you how many things I've done/made/tried since I joined that site. It's really one of the best things on the internet, IMHO. ;)

This is just one of them. My hubs is a contractor, so he's always building, repairing, remodeling, or crafting with wood, so there is always an abundance of scrap pieces in his shop. He cut these pieces for me, including the star, and the whole project took maybe 30 minutes. I super love it!!!!!
