This is the mini set, and I do mean mini. Finished size measures approximately 1.75 x 2.75 (I say approximately because my skills at reading a ruler are crap once you get beyond quarter inches. LOL!) Isn't it adorbs, though. :) I used the Happy Mail stamp set by My Creative Time for the enclosure card.
As much as I love the cutie patootie mini set, the larger size is my fave. Finished size, the envelope is just shy of 4x5 inches and the enclosure card is just enough smaller to fit perfectly inside. The shape and the size are perfect. And the fact you can cut the card in one swoop through your cutter beats using the trimmer or knife--no measuring. Simply fold your cardstock base and lay it on your cutting pad with the fold just inside the cutting edge on one side. Run it through and voila! No crooked edges and they all line up perfectly. Easy peasy, lemon squeezy!! {uhhhhh, my apologies for the uuuug-lay cutting pad!!)
To make the notched corners on the top mat layer, I punched the corners with a circle punch as you can see here. This punch is 1/2 inch.
A tip: tape a piece of paper over the brad on the inside of the envelope before you assemble and glue it together. This will prevent your card from getting caught on it as you slide it inside.
Here is my finished card and envelope. I used the paper collection, Sweet and Sassy, also by Lifestyle Crafts.
