Throwback Thursday with My Creative Time

Welcome to Throwback Thursday. This week's challenge is a Sports Challenge! Use any Sports Cartridge or any cartridge that you can make into a sports card or layout. Link up your projects to Emma's blog by Wednesday, January 18 for your chance in the drawing!

For me, sports projects are always a HUGE challenge as I never played sports myself, none of my kids did much in the way of sports and I have a really had time coming up with ideas for this theme. Thankfully, I had this one sports photo left that hadn't yet been scrapped! This is one of the grandboys from last year. I love how he pulls his hat so low his ears stick out. Hee hee! Such a boy. :)

For my title I used the Sports Sentiments set, including the #1. You can use that #1 for pretty much anything! And isn't the font cute too. Very sporty. ;)

I used a similar computer font to make my name/date banner using Word Art to fit it to the banner shape.

You can't do a baseball page without a cute little mitt and baseball. These are dies. So glad I had these! I think I have a total of 4 sports shapes in all my stash of 100s of dies - seriously. No cartridges with anything that can be turned into a sports thing either! But I have stars and that works for any sport, right.
