Enjoy the moment

With the hustle and bustle of the holiday season and all the hurry and scurry of activities, we sometimes forget to stop and take a breath. Today's card is a quick reminder to stop for a moment and enjoy our blessings. Not just now but all year long. I think we all need a reminder now and then, don't you. ;)

For my card I used the new Countdown release by Lifestyle Crafts. The tabs are actually a wine glass marker label. It's meant to be used this way {see champagne glass}....

...but you know me. I always look for other ways to use my dies that are not expected.

The clock is a 4x4 die and the drink labels are cookie cutters, a set of 3 labels and 2 rings {pictured above with the champagne}. I covered the clock hands and the stars in Glossy Accents. I inked the clock face sparsely and touched up the numbers with a Spica clear glitter pen to give it dimension and sort of a tarnished antique-y look.

The stamped sentiment is My Creative Time, This and That stamp set.

My flower is made from the Tattered Pine cone die by Tim Holtz for Sizzix. I love that it can be used for a flower as well as a pine cone. It turned out so pretty.

Here's a comparison of the Tattered Pine cone die used as pine cones and as a flower.
